What are the advantages of Qobuz Connect?

For a long time, streaming services such as Qobuz were usually accessed directly via apps that hardware manufacturers developed for their products or apps that were designed as a universal solution for use in conjunction with a wide variety of hardware solutions via the only actual industry standard UPnP.

However, it is of course much more convenient to be able to access different streaming solutions directly via the app of the streaming provider itself, and this is exactly what Qobuz Connect offers.

Streaming systems compatible with Qobuz Connect are listed directly in the Qobuz app and can be selected directly for music playback. The best available quality is always transmitted, right up to Hi-res audio. However, the actual data transfer does not take place via the smartphone or tablet on which the Qobuz app is running, but rather directly via the web and the streaming device. The smartphone or tablet therefore functions solely as a remote control.
