Audio Physic celebrates its 35th anniversary – AVANTI 35, TEMPO 35 and STEP 35

As a renowned loudspeaker manufacturer, what better way to celebrate a birthday than by presenting new loudspeaker systems… These days, Audio Physic GmbH is presenting three anniversary loudspeaker systems based on legendary solutions designed to celebrate the 35th anniversary.

For almost 35 years now, loudspeaker systems have been developed and handcrafted in Brilon, Sauerland. One of the most renowned loudspeaker manufacturers, Audio Physic GmbH, is based here. The company’s goal is to create powerful sound solutions with a unique natural stereo stage, thus reproducing music in the most natural way possible. Over the decades, the company has accumulated remarkable expertise and a love of detail, and many a solution from Brilon has set new standards.

Of course, there is nothing more obvious for a loudspeaker developer than to celebrate a round anniversary such as the 35th birthday with the presentation of special loudspeaker systems. Audio Physic is keeping it that way and is presenting three new loudspeaker systems at once these days. However, these are not entirely new, but Audio Physic is deliberately “resurrecting” three legends in a completely revised technical manner. Audio Physic AVANTI 35, Audio Physic TEMPO 35 and Audio Physic STEP 35 were the names of the three anniversary models and are intended to present themselves as perfect all-rounders, design classics and little sound wonders.

For 35 years, Audio Physic has been a pioneer in the research and application of new materials and structures in loudspeaker development, the company stated. The three new anniversary models are also intended to reflect this claim, so that although they are classics from the Brilon manufacturer, they have a completely new inner life.

As already mentioned, the new Audio Physic AVANTI 35 is a perfect all-rounder with a newly tuned bass foundation, according to the description of the German manufacturer, who claims that it sets new standards in design and workmanship, but above all in music reproduction. At the heart of the new Audio Physic AVANTI 35 is a new woofer, which, according to the manufacturer, is an invisible bass unit that, in combination with a new crossover, raises bass reproduction to a new level. The mid-range chamber has also been redesigned and now uses the Audio Physic honeycomb construction. The sound of the new Audio Physic AVANTI 35 is to become more powerful overall, without losing the typical DNA of Audio Physic.

With the Audio Physic TEMPO 35, a design classic is to be reissued, whereby the most striking innovation is the new look. For example, customers asked for a new front cover made of fabric, which is held in place by magnets. Naturally, the interior was also given a helping hand, and the company now uses an HHCM III mid-range driver, a newly designed crossover and a VCT III connection terminal. They are convinced that the new Audio Physic TEMPO 35 radiates an unprecedented sovereignty and perfection.

With “Bass, Bass…” Audio Physic describes the third new loudspeaker system, the Audio Physic STEP 35, which is also known as a small sound miracle. It is the smallest of the three new speakers below on the occasion of its 35th birthday, although it is not only able to impress with its particularly elegant appearance, but also with its technical features. It is equipped with a HHCM III low-midrange driver, a new crossover and a VCT III terminal, whereby, as just described, great importance was attached to a superior bass despite compact dimensions.

Audio Physic GmbH states that the Audio Physic AVANTI 35 is now available with a glass surface, wooden surfaces will be available in late summer 2020.
The Audio Physic TEMPO 35 will require patience until late summer, but then it will be available in black and white, each with a high-gloss finish, and also in walnut and ebony.

The Audio Physic STEP 35 will also be available from late summer, in high-gloss black and high-gloss white, and also in walnut and ebony.
