With the new beyerdynamic VERIO 200 Open True Wireless Earphones, the German company beyerdynamic GmbH & Co. KG is now also focusing on a very special type of headphones, namely so-called open-ear headphones. These are particularly popular with all those users who do not know what to do with conventional in-ear headphones, but still want a compact, easy-to-use solution.
With the new beyerdynamic VERIO 200 Open True Wireless Earphones, beyerdynamic GmbH & Co. KG combines an ear-on-ear design with an impressively open sound experience and excellent wearing comfort. This new headphone model is not only suitable for use on the go, whether for sports, on the way to work or travelling, but also in the home office or simply for relaxation.
Open-ear headphones for maximum comfort
As mentioned above, the new beyerdynamic VERIO 200 Open True Wireless Earphones are so-called open-ear headphones, a solution that is not inserted into the ear canal, like in-ear headphones, which do not even rest on the base of the ear canal and are fixed in the outer ear, like so-called earbuds, but simply rest on the ear. The ear remains largely free, there should be no pressure or discomfort, at least according to the manufacturer, who claims that they can be worn comfortably all day long.
This is also due to the fact that these headphones are very light, weighing only 10,8 g, and have ergonomically shaped earphones made of soft silicone and memory wire, which are held behind the ear by being passed from the front to the back.
Dynamic driver and open design
A dynamic driver in an open design is used here, with the presentation designed to achieve a coherent, dynamic sound image. The frequency response is specified by the manufacturer as 20 Hz to 20 kHz.
The special design ensures that you always hear a lot of the surrounding environment, even when playing music or making phone calls. This is ideal for sports, when you are travelling in traffic, and also when you are in the office, for example, you can hear enough to be able to react to colleagues.
The new beyerdynamic VERIO 200 Open True Wireless Earphones are equipped with MEMS microphones with cVc technology and an omnidirectional mode of operation, ensuring good speech quality in any environment. Background noise is effectively suppressed, allowing you to make phone calls and video calls without being disturbed, as well as to use voice control solutions smoothly.
Bluetooth 5.3 with aptX Adaptive
The signal is transmitted via a Bluetooth 5.3 module from the specialist Qualcomm Inc., which supports aptX Adaptive in addition to the lossy codecs SBC and AAC. In terms of Bluetooth profiles, this headphone model supports HFP 1.8, A2DP 1.3.2, AVRCP 1.6.2, AVCTP 1.4, AVDTP 1.3, SPP 1.2, RFCOMM 1.2 and GAVDP 1.3.
The headphones support multipoint Bluetooth, which means that they can be connected to two source devices at the same time, and you can switch between them seamlessly.
Up to eight hours of battery life
The battery integrated into the new beyerdynamic VERIO 200 Open True Wireless Earphones is designed to guarantee a playing time of up to eight hours, while the included transport case with integrated power bank provides an additional 27 hours. This is charged via USB-C, with the corresponding cable included with the headphones.
A quick charge function means that just ten minutes is enough to enjoy 60 minutes of music.
Intuitive operation
The beyerdynamic VERIO 200 Open True Wireless Earphones are controlled directly on the headphones using touch sensors. Incidentally, the manufacturer is releasing a newly developed app for easy operation of the headphones together with the beyerdynamic VERIO 200. Among other things, this offers a 5-band equaliser that can be used to realise a wide range of sound preferences. The beyerdynamic app is also to be compatible with all future headphone models from beyerdynamic GmbH & Co. KG. However, the previous MIY app will continue to be available for all compatible headphone models that are already available, as the manufacturer emphasises.
