Even though things didn’t go quite as smoothly as the company We are rewind would have liked around its Kickstarter campaign, and they had to contend with some significant delays in the market launches, ultimately it can be said that the French company has successfully re-established the product category of portable music cassette players on the market, even though, as one must of course admit, it is a niche market.
With its solution, We are rewind Portable Cassette Player, now also known as We are rewind WE-001 Cassette Player, the French start-up caused a stir and was particularly successful with music lovers who grew up with the Sony WALKMAN in the 1980s and were thus an integral part of the revolution that was triggered by it. However, the trendy look of We are rewind is also likely to appeal to many young people who are looking for an analogue alternative to their smartphones and see this as an expression of their lifestyle.
New in the accessories section
In addition to the actual portable music cassette player, which is available in a wide range of colours, the French company also offers a range of accessories, including, of course, cassettes.
The range has now been expanded to include a solution that allows the We are rewind Portable Cassette Player to be worn on a belt, namely the new We are rewind Belt Clip.
It has to be said that this solution seems a little bizarre at first glance, as it consists of a plastic shell. Here, robust ABS is used, the inside of which is lined with felt to protect the aluminium casing of the player.
The player is clamped in place by means of a metal bracket and should thus be held securely. The actual belt clip is located on the back of the shell, firmly attached to the metal bracket mentioned above.

The new We are rewind Belt Clip can of course be used with all design variants of the We are rewind Portable Cassette Player. It is available now for € 29,- directly from the manufacturer’s website.
