Roon 1.8 Build 783 is now available for download. Once again, an updated version of the media management and multi-room audio streaming software from Roon Labs LLC. is available. Once again, the software manufacturer has fixed a number of errors that crept in during the last major update of the Roon 1.8 solution and did not come to light in the extensive beta test.

In this context, it must be mentioned that the aforementioned Roon 1.8 update was a very far-reaching one; the software company even spoke of one of the largest, if not the largest in the company’s history. It is almost unavoidable that, despite a great deal of effort, not all errors can be discovered, as they only become apparent in the various individual configurations of thousands and thousands of users.

And one thing you can’t accuse Roon Labs LLC. of at the moment is not making an effort to quickly resolve all discrepancies.

Roon 1.8 Build 783 specifically addresses some problems that occurred around the graphical user interface on systems with Intel GPU, as well as display errors on Apple iOS devices. In addition, there are a number of other detailed improvements in various areas on the company’s list.

Roon 1.8 Build 783 is available for Apple macOS, Microsoft Windows, Linux and RoonOS. The corresponding apps for Apple iOS and Google Android can also be downloaded directly from the Apple App Store or Google PLAY Store. For the so-called Roon Bridge, however, no update is available with this release.
