An offspring of the Pro-Ject Box Design S3 Series
As a new addition to the Pro-Ject Box Design S3 Series, the new Pro-Ject Tuner Box S3 DAB+ presents itself in a compact form with dimensions of 206 mm in width, 153 mm or 164 mm including sockets in depth, and a height of 55 mm. The solid aluminium housing, available in black or silver, weighs 940 g. The front is dominated by a graphic design.
The front is adorned with a graphics-capable OLED display flanked by three buttons and a rotary encoder. Another button on the front serves as a standby button, and there is also a 6.3 mm stereo jack socket for connecting headphones.
The rear panel has one antenna connection for FM and another for the DAB or DAB+ tuner. Interestingly, in addition to an analogue output in the form of a pair of cinch sockets, digital interfaces are also available, namely an optical as well as coaxial S/PDIF. The power supply is provided by an external 9 V power supply unit.
The Pro-Ject Tuner Box S3 DAB+ can be conveniently controlled directly via the device itself, and a suitable infrared remote control is included in the scope of delivery. Of course, stations can be saved as favourites and there is even a 5-band equaliser for refining the performance according to your own wishes.

The new Pro-Ject Tuner Box S3 DAB+ should be available from specialist dealers immediately. The recommended retail price is listed at € 449,-. By the way, once again Pro-Ject Audio Systems emphasises that the new solution of the Pro-Ject Box Design S3 Series is also developed and manufactured in Europe.
