Audio Tuning Vertriebs GmbH and Austrian Audio GmbH are joining forces, according to a press release. With immediate effect, Audio Tuning Vertriebs GmbH will be the international representative for selected products of Austrian Audio GmbH, specifically high-end hi-fi solutions such as Austrian Audio The Composer or Austrian Audio Full Score one.

According to Audio Tuning Vertriebs GmbH and Austrian Audio GmbH, they are counting on a partnership on an international level, namely around the distribution of selected solutions from Austrian Audio GmbH.

The two Austrian companies Austrian Audio GmbH and Audio Tuning Vertriebs GmbH are proud to announce that they have agreed on an international cooperation. The intention of this cooperation is to combine the strengths of the two companies and thus to increase the reach of the Austrian Audio GmbH product line.

For this purpose, Audio Tuning Vertriebs will now act as the international representative of a selected product portfolio of Austrian Audio GmbH, specifically those products in the high-end hi-fi segment.

Austrian Audio GmbH – A start-up with decades of experience and expertise

Austrian Audio GmbH was founded in 2017, following the closure of the headquarters of the renowned AKG brand. For decades, AKG was considered one of the leading companies in the field of headphones and microphones, in segments ranging from pro audio to the consumer segment. With the takeover by Harman International Industries and various restructurings in the corporate environment, first the production was moved abroad, and finally also the development and even the local presence, so that finally the entire branch was closed.

A core team consisting of highly qualified employees decided to use the know-how and the concentrated expertise in the environment of a new project, Austrian Audio GmbH was founded and was able to draw attention to itself within a very short time with extremely exciting products. First and foremost, the company focused on solutions in the pro audio sector, above all microphones, of course, but also did not ignore the consumer segment, especially since the transitions between pro audio and consumer are fluid in the case of headphones.

New High-end HiFi Product Line

Now the product range is extended by products that are not only in the pro audio segment, but also aim at the high-end HiFi segment. Products that are to be realised without compromise from a technical point of view, and above all without regard to cost.

Examples are the brand new Austrian Audio The Composer Premium Headphones and the Austrian Audio Full Score one Headphone Amplifier, both solutions that Austrian Audio GmbH considers to be absolute references.

Looking for partners with expertise in the high-end hi-fi segment

In order to place these products on the market in the best possible way, Austrian Audio GmbH was looking for a suitable partner, namely a company with the greatest possible experience in the special market of high-end hi-fi.

It is not surprising that Audio Tuning Vertriebs GmbH was chosen, since Audio Tuning Vertriebs GmbH is not only the largest distributor in Austria, but also the parent company of brands such as Pro-Ject Audio Systems, Musical Fidelity, Tone Factory, Rekkord Audio and mo° sound.

Internationally, the company can therefore rely on 150 distributors with whom it has maintained intensive business relationships, some for decades, and who in turn can build on an extensive network of specialist dealers in their respective markets.

Getting to the point

The partnership between the two Austrian industry giants Austrian Audio GmbH and Audio Tuning Vertriebs GmbH is intended to extend the reach of Austrian Audio GmbH’s existing product line by giving Audio Tuning Vertriebs GmbH exclusive international representation of the new high-end hi-fi segment of the Vienna-based headphone specialist. Interestingly enough, this agreement does not apply to Korea and Japan, but that is only a detail worth mentioning in conclusion.
