Hegel - All integrated amplifiers now equipped for Apple AirPlay 2

From now on, all current stereo integrated amplifiers of the Hegel brand support Apple AirPlay 2, the Norwegian company Hegel Music System has announced. And there are no less than five of them, because this update is available for the systems Hegel H95, Hegel H120, Hegel H190, Hegel H390 and Hegel H590, immediately and via a simple firmware update.

Apple AirPlay 2 for all current stereo integrated amplifiers

The really remarkable thing about this is that Hegel Music System now actually offers this update for all current stereo integrated amplifiers, as just listed, thus allowing music lovers to play music from a wide variety of sources in very good quality in a particularly simple way.

Up to now, all systems already supported Apple AirPlay, but with Apple AirPlay 2, a much more reliable streaming platform is now available, which also brings some additional advantages.

For example, Apple AirPlay 2 also allows multi-room audio streaming, i.e. music can be played directly via the Apple iPhone or Apple iPad on various Apple AirPlay 2-compatible systems in the house and controlled centrally.

Whether one’s own content in the network serves as the source or one accesses various streaming services is solely a question of the installed app.

Prices and availability

As already mentioned, the update for Apple AirPlay 2 is available immediately, free of charge. The firmware update can be carried out directly via the corresponding function on the amplifier systems and should be done within a few minutes.

Getting to the point

It may only be a detail that Hegel Music System now equips all current stereo integrated amplifiers for Apple AirPlay 2, since they already supported Apple AirPlay. In fact, however, Apple AirPlay 2 is a much better performing and thus more stable and reliable streaming platform, so it is ultimately a decisive update that Hegel Music Systems now offers for the systems Hegel H95, Hegel H120, Hegel H190, Hegel H390 and Hegel H590.
