Bassocontinuo Ultra Feet Level 1 – For the smallest weight class in loudspeaker systems

For some time now, the Italian company Bassocontinuo Audio Systems S.r.l. has been offering not only sophisticated rack systems but also particularly easy-to-use yet extremely effective decoupling solutions in the form of the Bassocontinuo Ultra Feet Series, whereby these – depending on the model – are designed not only for hi-fi components but also for loudspeaker systems.

This product line is now being expanded once again to include a solution designed for loudspeaker systems, the new Bassocontinuo Ultra Feet Level 1.

Bassocontinuo Ultra Feet Series

Bassocontinuo Audio Systems S.r.l. is, of course, primarily known for its outstanding rack systems. However, based on the technology used here for the optimal decoupling of hi-fi systems, they also developed the so-called Bassocontinuo Ultra Feet Series, a range of decoupling solutions that, as already mentioned, are designed as particularly easy-to-use systems.

It all began with those solutions that the Italians designed as decoupling solutions for hi-fi components, but then they also devoted themselves to solutions that are designed for the best possible decoupling of loudspeaker systems.

The systems rely on a particularly effective mode of action that results from the ingenious combination of different materials. It is therefore crucial to pay attention to the weight of those components with which one wants to use these decoupling solutions. Accordingly, the Bassocontinuo Ultra Feet Series is differentiated according to so-called levels, with the range now extending from Level 1 to Level 7.

The current portfolio offers three versions that are specifically designed for loudspeaker systems, namely the products Bassocontinuo Ultra Feet Level 6, Bassocontinuo Ultra Feet Level 7 and the brand new Bassocontinuo Ultra Feet Level 1.

The Bassocontinuo Ultra Feet Level 2 to Bassocontinuo Ultra Feet Level 5 systems are designed primarily for use with hi-fi components.

All of them are manufactured from stainless steel using high-precision CNC machines, are extremely elegant systems and are supplied in a set of 4.

Bassocontinuo Ultra Feet Level 1

The new Bassocontinuo Ultra Feet Level 1 are designed for bookshelf loudspeaker systems as well as compact, lighter floor-standing loudspeaker systems, whereby each of the decouplers in a set can carry a weight of up to 15 kg. This means that the maximum load for which a set of the new Bassocontinuo Ultra Feet Level 1 is designed is 60 kg.

Optimum decoupling is achieved here by means of two rubber discs of different density, as the manufacturer states on record.

Speaking of which, Bassocontinuo Audio Systems S.r.l. is the only company in the field of decoupling systems that has relied on cooperation with an independent institute from the very beginning. The company has been working with the Politecnico di Milano Technical University for years, and this also applies to the Bassocontinuo Ultra Feet, the effectiveness of which has been confirmed in extensive tests by the institute in the northern Italian metropolis.
