Thorens TD1600 Turntable
At the centre of the new Thorens Super Bundle is an extremely fine turntable that can be described without a doubt as a solution that exemplifies what characterises the Thorens brand. It is not for nothing that the manufacturer itself says that this is a turntable that is to be understood as a return to the DNA of the Thorens brand. A turntable that bridges the gap between decades of Thorens tradition and today’s technologies.
The turntable, which deliberately takes up the design concept of the early Thorens 160 Series with its elegant wooden frame, is designed as a sub-chassis construction, based on a three cone spring construction.
The platter is driven by a precision belt and the turntable is equipped with an elaborate, precise electronic motor control.

To guarantee a turntable that is ready to play immediately, Thorens GmbH also includes the matching cable with the new Thorens Super Bundle in the form of a Thorens PhonoConnect cable, which, according to the manufacturer, is specially designed for the best signal transmission.
