Two new multi-source players from the T+A R-Series, the T+A MP 2000 R G3 and T+A MP 2500 R G3, are now available, as T+A elektroakustik GmbH & Co. KG announces. These feature the new T+A ASA G3, which is available as an upgrade for the T+A MP 2000 R MKII and T+A MP 2500 R systems.

The Herford-based company T+A elektroakustik GmbH & Co. KG has been known for many years for solutions that can be described as particularly versatile and flexible products, which the renowned High-end HiFi manufacturer refers to as multi-source players. The company’s T+A R Series is now being extended by two such solutions, namely the T+A MP 2000 R G3 and T+A MP 2500 R G3.
In addition, and this will please all users of the corresponding systems, the company is also announcing available upgrades for the T+A MP 2000 R MKII and T+A MP 2500 R systems. The latest T+A ASA G3 streaming architecture, which forms the basis for the new T+A MP 2000 R G3 and T+A MP 2500 R G3, can be retrofitted to these systems.
T+A ASA G3 – Equipped for the future
T+A elektroakustik GmbH & Co. KG promises that the new T+A ASA G3 is a platform that includes the latest streaming services and thus equips solutions based on it for the future. KG. ASA, which stands for Audiophile Streaming Architecture, is the highlight of the new T+A Multi Source Players in the T+A R-Series.
According to the Herford-based company, it allows access to a variety of high-quality and convenient connect services that enable direct music streaming from mobile devices, for example via TIDAL Connect or Spotify Connect as well as Apple AirPlay 2.
Furthermore, the new T+A ASA G3 forms the interface to a range of services with Hi-res audio content in Linear PCM and even native streaming of DSD is possible via the corresponding streaming client without any conversion.

Optimised signal processing
The aforementioned T+A ASA G3 is just one of the improvements that the engineers at T+A elektroakustik GmbH & Co. KG have made to the new T+A MP 2000 R G3 and T+A MP 2500 R G3 solutions. It is also said that signal processing has been significantly improved by the use of a new motherboard.
The signals from the CD drive in the T+A MP 2000 R G3 and the SACD drive in the T+A MP 2500 R G3 can now also be used to call up extended information such as cover artwork in the T+A MusicNavigator G3 app using the Gracenote service.
The German High-end HiFi manufacturer also points out that its unique True 1 Bit DSD and Quadruple PCM D/A converters ensure even better sound quality and that the solutions have powerful FM and DAB tuners.
Upgrades for the predecessors T+A MP 2000 R MKII and T+A MP 2500 R
T+A elektroakustik GmbH & Co. KG is to be commended for not leaving existing customers out in the cold, but rather offering them the opportunity to bring their products up to date.
An upgrade to the new T+A ASA G3 will be available for the T+A MP 2000 MKII and T+A MP 2500 R models, even if the devices have to be sent to the manufacturer in Herford, Germany, via authorised dealers. In addition to new hardware components for the streaming architecture, this upgrade includes device-specific customised control software.
With this upgrade option, T+A elektroakustik GmbH & Co. KG is ensuring that the T+A R-Series multi-source players will continue to be at the forefront of technological development in the coming years and fulfil the needs of modern users worldwide.

The T+A R-Series multi-source players are now available in anodised silver and anodised black finishes at a recommended retail price of € 7.500,- for the T+A MP 2000 R G3 and € 11.500,- for the T+A MP 2500 R G3 from authorised dealers. The upgrade for the T+A MP 2000 R MKII and T+A MP 2500 R is offered at a price of € 600,- plus shipping costs.
