Based on data from a decade of IDMT research into the intricacies of individual listening preferences, the Sound Personalisation feature calibrates to a user-specific audio profile. This involves evaluating the user’s response to benchmark sound samples, while audio processing algorithms shape the listening experience around the music tracks that most appeal to the user. After the benchmark analysis, the profile can be further refined on an interactive X-Y grid and the results can then be saved via a personal profile.

Perfect fit for perfect sound – Fit Test for Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 3
Only perfectly fitting in-ear headphones actually deliver perfect sound, and to achieve this, the Sennheiser Smart Control App now has a corresponding test, the so-called Fit Test. The user is guided step by step through all the relevant points in order to finally insert the ideal ear tips for him or her, find the perfect fit and the optimal placement of the earphones in the ear, and thus achieve the most effective seal for full sound and perfect wearing comfort.
Now also Sennheiser MOMENTUM 4 Wireless with 24 bit and 96 kHz via Bluetooth
Finally, it should be mentioned that with the latest firmware, the Sennheiser MOMENTUM 4 Wireless can now also transmit signals with up to 24 bits and 96 kHz via Bluetooth or the Bluetooth aptX Adaptive codec. This is to guarantee a data rate of 420 kbps and thus a correspondingly appealing performance. All features are available in the newly released Sennheiser Smart Control App version 4.3, the app can be installed for free via the Apple App Store for Apple iOS or the Google Play Store for Google Android. Additional features are available for the Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 from firmware version 2.12.33, while for the Sennheiser MOMENTUM 4 Wireless the new features are available from firmware version 2.13.18.
