The Record Doctor X is designed so that the cleaning solution is first applied to the record manually by the user, first on one side and then on the other, using a brush included in the scope of delivery to ensure even distribution.
The scope of delivery includes a clamp that holds the record in place and also protects the label from the cleaning fluid so that it always remains intact.
A toggle switch allows you to choose between clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation for particularly thorough cleaning. The cleaning fluid is then extracted, whereby this takes place simultaneously at the top and bottom.
As a special feature, the manufacturer emphasises that a high-torque motor is used here and that there is no gearbox, so that a long service life is guaranteed. Suction is said to be particularly effective, so that the record can be played immediately after cleaning.
