Pro-Ject Audio Systems says that it is particularly important to set up the speakers at the right height for the listener’s ears, but also the right distance from any walls and especially a stable foundation so that vibrations and resonances that damage the sound are avoided.
Optimal placement guarantees clear reproduction, in particular focused, accentuated bass reproduction free from blurring caused by the vibrations of furniture or even the floor itself.
Elegant design
The new Pro-Ject Tristand is said to be a solution with a particularly elegant, slim design, relying on a construction with a solid steel frame, a heavy base plate and rubber pads or height-adjustable spikes on the top plate.
The base plate can also be fitted with height-adjustable spikes, or with height-adjustable rubber pads, depending on the floor covering of the listening room. For the use of the spikes, of course, suitable metal discs are included with the product as a base.
The Pro-Ject Tristand measures 700 mm in height and weighs 5 kg. The top plate has dimensions of 150 x 142 mm, the base plate is designed as an equilateral triangle with an edge length of 360 mm.

Pro-Ject Audio Systems explicitly points out that the new Pro-Ject Tristand is exclusively manufactured in Europe in order to guarantee local added value as well as the lowest possible consumption of resources during transport.
