Pro-Ject Elvis Limited Special Edition Turntable – A tribute to the King of Rock’n’Roll

The Pro-Ject Artist Collection already includes a large number of outstanding record players, and now a further model has been added that clearly occupies a special position, as Pro-Ject Audio Systems is dedicating this new turntable - Pro-Ject Elvis Limited Special Edition Turntable - to none other than the King, Elvis Presley.

Story Highlights
  • It is the latest addition to the Pro-Ject Artist Collection and a truly very special record player, the Pro-Ject Elvis Limited Special Edition turntable.

For years, Pro-Ject Audio Systems has pursued the strategy of offering exceptional record players dedicated to outstanding artists with the so-called Pro-Ject Artist Collection. These record players are usually designed directly with the artists, or the company secures the exclusive rights to distinctive subjects so that it can offer truly exquisite, unique solutions.

Examples of this include turntables for The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Metallica, Pink Floyd or, most recently, AC/DC. These are very illustrious names, but the latest addition to the Pro-Ject Artist Collection stands out because it is dedicated to none other than the King himself, the King of Rock’n’Roll, Elvis Presley.

Celebrating the King’s 90th birthday – Pro-Ject Elvis Limited Special Edition Turntable

The new Pro-Ject Elvis Limited Special Edition turntable was presented to the general public for the first time at the High-end 2025 in Munich. While other solutions in the Pro-Ject Artist Collection are characterised by a special paint finish, the Pro-Ject Elvis Limited Special Edition Turntable goes one step further.

The King’s name is embedded in the top of the turntable as an LED chain, which shines in bright red. The lettering is deliberately reminiscent of the lettering that was used as stage decoration for the 1968 comeback special on NBC and from then on became an almost iconic logo for Elvis.

High-quality drive for fine vinyl sound

The turntable is finished in black and rests on damped feet to ensure optimum decoupling.

A 9-inch aluminium tonearm is used here, on which a Sumiko Rainier cartridge system is installed ex works. The turntable also has a 10 mm thick and, at 1,7 kg, particularly heavy platter made of glass, as well as a belt drive realised by means of a sub-platter. The speed is electronically controlled and can be selected between 33 1/3 and 45 revolutions per minute at the touch of a button.

The scope of delivery includes a dust cover and a suitable connection cable as well as an external power supply unit.

Prices and availability

It is not yet clear when the new Pro-Ject Elvis Limited Special Edition turntable will actually be available. What is certain, however, is that you will have to budget € 1.399,- for this solution.
