The German company Nubert electronic GmbH has ambitious plans for its latest generation of the Nubert nuVero Series, which was presented for the first time at the High-End 2025 in Munich, although interestingly, no final product names had been finalised at that time. One thing was clear: once again, it was to be a model range that was designed as a versatile High-end solution with a very broad range of applications and an elegant design that would fit into any modern living environment. It was therefore important to ensure that the latest generation would remain true to its long-standing tradition and thus continue to be one of the most important product lines in the entire Nubert electronic GmbH portfolio.

A competition was held to determine the final name of the latest speaker series, which ultimately became the Nubert nuVero nova Series with the models Nubert nuVero nova 1w, Nubert nuVero nova 5, Nubert nuVero nova 7, Nubert nuVero nova 9, Nubert nuVero nova 12, Nubert nuVero nova 14 and Nubert nuVero nova 18.

Broad product line for stereo and home cinema

No fewer than seven models will be available in the new Nubert nuVero nova Series. Nubert nuVero nova 1w is the subwoofer in the series, Nubert nuVero nova 5 is the versatile wall and ceiling speaker, Nubert nuVero nova 7 is the centre speaker and Nubert nuVero nova 9 is the name for the shelf speaker system in the product line. With the Nubert nuVero nova 12, Nubert nuVero nova 14 and Nubert nuVero nova 18 models, a compact, a medium-sized and a large floor-standing loudspeaker are available.

As already mentioned in the introduction, Nubert electronic GmbH has thus ensured that the third generation of the Nubert nuVero series can be used very flexibly for a wide variety of HiFi tasks and thus for stereo as well as surround sound in home cinema.

Developed from scratch

What makes the third generation of the Nubert nuVero series, the Nubert nuVero nova Series, so special is that it has been developed from scratch, as the manufacturer emphasises.

This model series is the first speaker system from Nubert electronic GmbH to feature a tweeter with metal diaphragms, based on so-called Non Resonant Technology, or NRT for short, which is intended to enable transparent, detailed reproduction up to 30 kHz and beyond.

The woofer and midrange drivers in this new generation of the product line rely on a carbon fibre cone made of four layers for maximum rigidity with the lowest possible mass. According to Nubert electronic GmbH, this guarantees a seamless fusion between bass and midrange.

The UltraDirectivity technology deserves special mention, as this describes the exceptionally focussed dispersion behaviour of the new Nubert nuVero nova models. The focus here is on the product line’s almost legendary sound cone, which is not just a visual feature, but an essential component for an optimal performance. Nubert electronic GmbH itself refers to this as WideStage and a musical experience that detaches itself from the loudspeakers, surrounds the listener and brings them right into the centre of the action.

BalancedField is also intended to achieve a new level of tonal balance, drawing on findings from microphone and recording technology to guarantee acoustic fine-tuning even in acoustically challenging rooms for an impressive, even and natural perception of the entire listening spectrum.

The first three models available for pre-order

Three of seven models can now be pre-ordered, namely the Nubert nuVero nova 9, Nubert nuVero nova 14 and Nubert nuVero nova 18 systems, as Nubert electronic GmbH has now announced in a press release.

The Nubert nuVero nova 9 brings top-class acoustics into a compact, elegant format and combines all the sound expertise from 50 years of experience with outstanding musicality, precise spatiality and a radiantly homogeneous sound image, as is expressly emphasised. It is High-end HiFi in the living room-friendly format of a compact bookshelf loudspeaker system.

The manufacturer even describes the Nubert nuVero nova 14 as a statement, as it offers the finest nuances, impressive precision and perfect homogeneity. This guarantees a listening experience that is deeply moving, whether for HiFi or home cinema. Thanks to its clear, striking design with the characteristic arrangement of the transducers and softly rounded sound front as a visual expression of technical perfection, this speaker system is a true High-end speaker system.

Nubert electronic GmbH considers the flagship of the product line, the Nubert nuVero nova 18, to be nothing less than a reference-class loudspeaker. The company refers to it as a solution with a profiled design in classic clarity and musicality at an unrivalled level. The computer-optimised curved front already signals true High-end. The organic, functional shape in flawless piano lacquer also symbolises uncompromising sound quality and precision.

Prices and availability

The first three models in the Nubert nuVero nova Series – Nubert nuVero nova 9, Nubert nuVero nova 14 and Nubert nuVero nova 18 – can be pre-ordered directly from the website now, although you will have to be patient until October 2025. Only then will the speakers actually be delivered. In return, the manufacturer will grant all those who order the speakers up to and including 8 September 2025 a free warranty extension from five to 15 years.

The recommended retail price for the Nubert nuVero nova 9 is € 1.095,-, for the Nubert nuVero nova 14 € 2.950,- and for the Nubert nuVero nova 18 € 5.950,-.
