For sports use only, the Klipsch T5 Series previously included the Klipsch T5 Sport Wireless, a Bluetooth in-ear headset that featured a classic neckband. The new Klipsch T5 II True Wireless Sport Earphones eliminate the need for cables and feature special ear-wings for a secure fit during exercise.
Klipsch has been a sporting force within the Klipsch T5 Series, the product line that the company introduced just last year as an integral part of its new Klipsch True You marketing strategy, and which includes a range of exciting in-ear headphones.
The Klipsch T5 Series has included the Klipsch T5M Wired, Klipsch T5 Neckband Wireless, Klipsch T5 True Wireless and the Klipsch T5 Sport Wireless Earphones.
This earphone uses a neckband, as is common with many such headphones. This not only gives the designers more room for the electronics and the battery, but also guarantees a very safe wearing experience, especially during sports.
However, many users want complete “freedom from cables,” so Klipsch has decided to offer a new generation Klipsch T5 Series with the addition of the new Klipsch T5 II True Wireless Sport Earphones to the Klipsch T5 Series, first announced at the CES 2020 in Las Vegas, and now made concrete.
The new Klipsch T5 II True Wireless Sport Earphones are small and ergonomically perfect, and come with no fewer than six different ear tips. These are special oval-shaped Ear Tips that are designed to be comfortable to wear while providing very effective noise isolation. In addition, a pair of Memory Foam Ear Tips is also supplied as an alternative.
Essential Ear Wings are included in three different sizes that ensure that the Klipsch T5 II True Wireless Sport Earphones will hold up perfectly during even the most intense workouts. These Ear Wings are designed to keep the in-ear headphones in place in the auricle while still providing maximum comfort.
Once again, the manufacturer promises “legendary Klipsch sound” for the new Klipsch T5 II True Wireless Sport Earphones, and the previous Klipsch T5 Series models have proven to deliver the finest sound available.
Four microphones are built into the Klipsch T5 II True Wireless Sport Earphones to provide optimal voice quality when used as a hands-free kit or by giving commands through voice assistants like Apple Siri or Google Assistant.
A special antenna design, which the manufacturer itself refers to as the Signal-boost Antenna, is designed to provide a consistently interference-free, secure connection via Bluetooth.
The new Klipsch T5 II True Wireless Sport Earphones are designed to be rugged, water and dirt resistant, and are specially coated for easy cleaning. The new Klipsch T5 II True Wireless Sport Earphones are IP67-rated by the manufacturer.
This rugged design also applies to the included carrying case, which also functions as a charging station and is designed as a power bank. The in-ear headphones themselves are said to offer the amazing playing time of up to eight hours, the aforementioned case allows for 24 more hours, so that in total you can manage up to 32 hours on the road without a power outlet.
Charging is via USB C cable or Qi wireless charging.
For the US market, Klipsch promises to launch the new Klipsch T5 II True Wireless Sport Earphones in the summer of 2020 at a price of US$199. In this country, the new Klipsch T5 II Series “sporty” earphones will be available in September 2020 at a suggested retail price of $229.00. Users can choose from a variety of colors, including black, white and green.
Getting to the point
Previously available within the Klipsch T5 Series, the Klipsch T5 Sport Wireless relies on a neckband, as is common with many such headphones. Not only does this give the designers much more room for the electronics and battery, but the neckband also ensures a very secure fit, especially during exercise. However, many users are looking for complete “freedom from cables,” so Klipsch has decided to offer this option by adding the new Klipsch T5 II True Wireless Sport Earphones to the latest generation of the Klipsch T5 Series.
