The entire ecosystem of the BluOS streaming platform from the Canadian company Lenbrook is designed, like all such solutions, to be controlled centrally using apps on smartphones and tablets. This may be practical for the consumer segment in particular, but in a business environment, a smartphone or tablet is not the first choice.
The new Bluesound Professional CP300 Wall Mount Control Panel is an extremely exciting alternative from the Bluesound Professional brand, particularly for installations in business premises, offices, restaurants and hotels.
Control panel for wall mounting
The crucial point, especially in a business environment, is that a conventional smartphone or tablet is probably used by staff for many things, and not just for controlling the streaming system.
Of course, there are many solutions on the market that allow conventional tablets to be mounted on a wall, but these are often quite expensive and the problem remains that they are not used to control the streaming system alone.
This is precisely where Bluesound Professional comes in with the new Bluesound Professional CP300 Wall Mount Control Panel, because this solution is designed solely for controlling streaming systems based on BluOS.
Of course, it is essentially a tablet based on an RK3566 quad-core Cortex A17 Prizessor with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB ROM and the Google Android 13 operating system, but the user is not aware of this, as they are only presented with the BluOS app for controlling all streaming devices based on it in the network.
The tablet features an 8-inch touchscreen display with a glass surface and a resolution of 1.280 x 800 pixels.
For security, the panel can be protected against unauthorised access by means of an individually definable PIN code.
The Bluesound Professional CP300 Wall Mount Control Panel is particularly flat and also elegantly designed so that it fits seamlessly into any environment. The wall mounting should also be designed so that nothing of the mounting device can be seen.
The Bluesound Professional C300 measures 344 x 215 x 65 mm and weighs 1,3 kg.
Integration via network cable
It is essential that the Bluesound Professional CP300 is integrated into the network via a network cable using an RJ45 Ethernet interface, which also serves to supply power. This is done using Power over Ethernet, also known as PoE+.
In principle, the panel also has WiFi according to 802.11n and Bluetooth 4.0 is also on board. A USB 2.0 port and a microUSB port are also available.
Finally, it should be mentioned that the Bluesound Professional CP300 can be used to control all BluOS-based solutions and, of course, to integrate several of these controllers into a single network.

The new Bluesound Professional CP300 should be available soon. Unfortunately, we do not yet have a price for the local market.
Getting to the point
Yes, there are, of course, various solutions for equipping wall-mounted tablets with Apple iOS or Google Android for use as a fixed control solution for streaming systems based on BluOS, for example. However, the solution offered by Bluesound Professional with the new Bluesound Professional CP300 is arguably more elegant.
