The Bang & Olufsen BeoSound A1 2nd Gen Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker is said to offer a longer playing time, a completely dust and waterproof design, and the possibility of accessing voice assistants in conjunction with smartphones.

Measuring just 133 mm in diameter, 46 mm in height, and with a rugged design certified to IP67, the Bang & Olufsen BeoSound A1 2nd Gen Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker can be used for music playback for up to 18 hours.

The new Bang & Olufsen BeoSound A1 2nd Gen Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker supports Apple Fast Pair, Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair and connects to smartphones via Bluetooth 5.1. Two Bluetooth Speakers can also be combined into a pair.

Of course, the Bang & Olufsen BeoSound A1 2nd Gen Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker can be used as a hands-free device, whereby three microphones in the form of an array ensure particularly good voice quality. This means that voice control via voice assistants is also supported, Bang & Olufsen emphasises Amazon Alexa in particular, whereby activation via this service is possible by voice, and a push button is available for further activation.

The battery is charged via USB and of course a suitable app is available for this solution, the Bang & Olufsen app.

New choice of colours

The Bang & Olufsen Beosound A1 2nd Gen was previously offered in Grey Mist and Black Anthracite, but now another option has been added. From now on, the Bang & Olufsen Beosound A1 2nd Gen is also available in Anthracite Oxygen, which can be worn loosely on the wrist with a leather strap.

The Bang & Olufsen Beosound A1 2nd Gen is also available in the new version at the recommended retail price of € 250.
