The partner programme of Roon Labs LLC. stipulates that solutions that are to be directly integrated into the Roon media management and multi-room Hi-res audio streaming solution must first undergo a test to ensure that the necessary conditions are met and that smooth operation is guaranteed. If this is the case, the product is certified by Roon Labs LLS. as Roon Ready or Roon Tested, depending on the type.

As Roon Labs LLC. has now announced, the certification process for Technics brand streaming solutions has now been completed so that they can also be integrated smoothly and directly into the software.

Roon Ready certified solutions from Technics

A few important solutions are now certified as Roon Ready, namely Technics SU-GX70 Network Audio Amplifier and Technics SL-G700M2 Multi-Digital Player, as well as the latest addition to the Technics brand, the Technics SC-CX700 Powered Speaker.

These products can now be activated directly in Roon as audio hardware, with signal transmission via the network using RAAT, the RoonAdvanced Audio Transport developed by Roon Labs LLC, guaranteeing bit-perfect Hi-res audio streaming. Roon Ready also offers bi-directional control, allowing important parameters such as volume to be controlled directly via the app and playback to be controlled directly on the device.

Roon Tested certified solutions from Technics

In addition to Roon Ready devices, the Technics product range also includes many solutions that are labelled as Roon Tested. Here, Roon Labs LLC. offers the products Technics SC-C500 Integrated Amplifier, Technics ST-C700 DAC, Technics SU-C550 Integrated Amplifier, Technics CU-C700 Integrated Amplifier, Technics SU-G30 Integrated Amplifier, Technics SU-G700 Integrated Amplifier, but also the solutions Technics SL-G700M2 DAP and Technics SU-GX70 Integrated Amplifier, which are therefore both Roon Tested and Roon Ready certified.
