Vincent SV-737 Integrated Hybrid Class A Stereo Amplifier

It is the new stereo integrated amplifier from the Vincent Tube Line, it combines analogue and digital sources, also offers the possibility to connect mobile devices via Bluetooth and also allows streaming via WiFi, the new Vincent SV-737 Integrated Hybrid Class A Stereo Amplifier, which is the new flagship in the field of stereo integrated amplifiers at the Vincent brand.

The Vincent brand of Sintron Vertriebs GmbH has been offering an extensive range of amplifiers in the various product lines for years. The so called Vincent Tube Line is now extended by a very special model, which is supposed to combine a direct connection between classic HiFi and the possibilities of networked consumer electronics, namely the new Vincent SV-737 Class A Hybrid Stereo Amplifier.

The new Vincent SV-737 Class A Hybrid Stereo Amplifier not only plays a special role within the Vincent Tube Line, it is also the new flagship in the field of stereo amplifiers. Essential areas such as the pre- and power amplifier have been completely redeveloped, and versatility has also been emphasised. The Vincent SV-737 Class A Hybrid Stereo Amplifier has an integrated D/A converter, can contact mobile devices via Bluetooth and is also equipped with a WiFi module for streaming in the network.

The design of the new Vincent SV-737 Integrated Hybrid Class A Stereo Amplifier naturally follows the line that the company has been pursuing for some time. It is noticeable that the front of the new stereo amplifier is equipped with an abundance of control elements, so that a comfortable control directly at the device is guaranteed. Between four rotary encoders, which are used to control volume, input selection, bass and treble, a round viewing window is enthroned, which allows a view of the tubes of the Vincent SV-737 Integrated Hybrid Class A Stereo Amplifier and shines elegantly in orange light. Directly underneath it, there are a number of buttons and status LEDs, and a headphone jack is also included.

The rear of the Vincent SV-737 Integrated Hybrid Class A Stereo Amplifier is generously equipped with connections, above all six analogue inputs in the form of pairs of RCA sockets. A record out is also a must here. Two coaxial and two optical S/PDIF interfaces are available for digital sources. It is interesting that the pre- and power amplifier can be separated and used separately. For this purpose there are corresponding connections – Pre Out and Main In – in the form of RCA sockets. Solid screw terminals are used to connect the speakers, with four pairs available here. 12 Volt trigger connections are also included. In addition, there are two antennas, one for the integrated WiFi module, the second for Bluetooth. Interestingly, a classic network interface in the form of a RJ45 Ethernet socket was omitted.

In the network, the Vincent SV-737 Integrated Hybrid Class A Stereo Amplifier acts as an UPnP streaming client and can play back data in WAV, FLAC, APE, MP3, AAC and WMA formats. The manufacturer recommends the so-called MUZU Player App, which is available for Apple iOS and Google Android.

As the name of the new Vincent SV-737 Integrated Hybrid Class A Stereo Amplifier makes clear, it is a hybrid solution, i.e. tube and transistor technology is used to combine the best of both worlds. The manufacturer states that the preamplifier is based on the Vincent SA-T7 and uses two double triodes of the 6M2P-EV type for the actual amplification of the voltage. In addition there are 6N1P for the drivers and buffer stage and an 85A2 as voltage reference. In this context, the manufacturer emphasizes above all the particularly low-noise and virtually hum-free mode of operation. The Vincent SV-237MK was the inspiration for the power amplifier, but improvements were also made for the new Vincent SV-737 Integrated Hybrid Class A Stereo Amplifier. This stereo amplifier is intended to be used even more flexibly with a wide variety of speaker systems.

The new Vincent SV-737 Integrated Hybrid Class A Stereo Amplifier delivers a remarkable two 180 watts to speaker systems with an impedance of 8 ohms, and even two 300 watts to just 4 ohms. According to the manufacturer, pure Class A operation is guaranteed up to twice 10 watts into 8 ohms.

The new Vincent SV-737 Integrated Hybrid Class A Stereo Amplifier measures 430 mm in width, 430 mm in depth and 165 mm in height and weighs a whopping 21 kg. This solution is offered in two versions, black and silver. In either case, a matching infrared remote control is included in the scope of delivery.

The new Vincent SV-737 Integrated Hybrid Class A Stereo Amplifier is expected to be available in specialist shops in the near future. The recommended retail price is stated as € 2,999.
