An ESS SABRE Digital-to-Analog converter handles signal conversion to the analogue domain. This architecture is intended to ensure consistent and precise signal quality across all analogue outputs, regardless of whether the STREAMER is used as a preamplifier, a source for active loudspeakers, or as an interface to external power amplification. For practical system tuning, integrated equaliser and bass management functions allow adaptation to different loudspeaker concepts and room conditions.

sonoro AMPLIFIER – Compact Streaming Amplifier for Flexible Installations

The sonoro AMPLIFIER combines network streaming with integrated power amplification, addressing both classic passive HiFi loudspeakers and passive in-ceiling or in-wall speakers. The power amplifier stage is based on Class-D technology and, according to the manufacturer, delivers an output power of 2 x 250 W into 4 Ohm.

An ESS SABRE Digital-to-Analog converter is also used here, forming the basis for high-resolution signal processing. Connectivity is tailored to typical living space and installation scenarios and includes HDMI ARC, S/PDIF optical input, analogue input, subwoofer output, USB-A, LAN, and WiFi. The sonoro STREAMER will be available from the third quarter of 2026 in a black finish, with a recommended retail price of € 999,-.
