Outstanding precision thanks to 25 MHz clocking
While previous concepts were based on a 10 MHz clock, which was originally developed for GPS systems, the Silent Angel Genesis GX, according to the manufacturer, relies on TXCO chips (Temperature Compensation Crystal Oscillator) with a clock rate of 10 and even 25 MHz, as they are also used for the most demanding scientific measurement tasks, according to Thunder Data Co. Ltd, who thus describe their product as downright outstanding.
Interestingly, the new Silent Angel Genesis GX offers no less than four independent word clock outputs, two of which are 25 MHz variants ideally suited for interaction with high-end devices such as the Silent Angel Bonn NX Switch. 10 MHz-compatible devices can be connected to the other two outputs.
Like the Silent Angel Bonn NX, the new Silent Angel Genesis GX Clock also has an elaborately vibration-damped housing and effective damper feet, so that the clock units can carry out their precision work completely free of any interference factors.
Optional upgrade with Silent Angel Forester F2 Power Supply
Like other Silent Angel solutions from Thunder Data Co. Ltd, the new Silent Angel Genesis GX can be upgraded with an external power supply, even if a power supply is already available from the factory, which in principle already meets high audiophile demands. The new Silent Angel Genesis NX Clock also offers the possibility to connect an external linear power supply, namely the SIlent Angel Forester F2 Power Supply.
