Sennheiser IE 200 – For pure hearing pleasure

The new Sennheiser IE 200, which Sonova Consumer Hearing GmbH is now presenting, is said to be the audiophile in-ear headphone of the Sennheiser IE Series, offering high-fidelity sound in every situation.

Yes, they still exist, headphones that rely on cables, such as the new Sennheiser IE 200, the latest addition to the Sennheiser IE Series, which Sonova Consumer Hearing GmbH is now presenting as the new in-ear headphones of the Sennheiser brand with audiophile virtues. High-fidelity sound with crystal-clear sound and the finest resolution is possible in every situation, as the manufacturer promises. What also speaks for the new Sennheiser IE 200 is the particularly attractive price.

Sennheiser IE 200 – Sennheiser TrueResponse transducer technology

The new Sennheiser IE 200 builds on the legacy of its sister models in many areas, according to the manufacturer. It is based on a technology that has been tried and tested for 15 years, namely Sennheiser TrueResponse transducer technology, which is intended to lay the foundation for a particularly detailed, clear and powerful sound.

The new Sennheiser IE 200 uses a 7 mm Sennheiser TrueResponse driver and relies on a so-called diffuse field equalisation, which, according to Sonova Consumer Hearing GmbH, guarantees a particularly balanced sound.

The frequency response of the Sennheiser IE 200 is stated as 6 Hz to 20 kHz, the impedance is 18 ohms and the sensitivity is 119 dB in the data sheet of the new in-ear headphones.

Dual tuning function

A special feature of the new Sennheiser IE 200 is that the user can influence its imaging to a certain extent through the so-called dual-tuning function.

With the new Sennheiser IE 200, users can place the ear tips included in the scope of delivery in two different positions and thus decide whether they want the sound to be as precise as possible or whether they prefer a somewhat more powerful performance with more bass and more mid-range.

Optimal fit for maximum wearing comfort

The manufacturer also emphasises the wearing comfort of the new Sennheiser IE 200. To achieve this, the company relies on an optimally designed ergonomic fit and a simple housing that adapts to ears of different sizes, thus guaranteeing undisturbed listening pleasure even during prolonged use.

Cable with MMCX connector

As mentioned earlier, it’s almost unusual these days for a new pair of headphones to rely not on Bluetooth, but actually on cables. The new Sennheiser IE 200 does just that and features a cable with MMCX connector and a 3.5 mm stereo mini-jack.

It must be emphasised that the braided cable is designed to guarantee optimum signal transmission to meet audiophile demands.

“The Sennheiser IE 200 offers high-fidelity sound in every situation. With its balanced and highly precise audio reproduction, our new earphones make details audible that conventional headphones cannot reproduce in this way.”

Getting to the point

With the new Sennheiser IE 200, the company Sonova Consumer Hearing GmbH presents a new in-ear headphone that, for once, does not use Bluetooth but a cable.
