The new Pro-Ject Power Box RS Uni 1-Way TT has been specially developed for turntables with a heavy platter. This applies to the Pro-Ject RPM 9 and Pro-Ject RPM 10 models, the Pro-Ject Signature 10 and Pro-Ject Signature 12 models, and the Pro-Ject Xtension 9, Pro-Ject Xtension 10 and Pro-Ject Xtension 12 solutions.

In addition, the new Pro-Ject Power Box RS Uni 1-Way TT is of course also compatible with a wide range of other Pro-Ject Audio Systems turntables, as long as they have a supply voltage of 15 V DC.

High-purity power supply free of switching power supplies

Pro-Ject Audio Systems uses a linear power supply with an oversized toroidal transformer at its heart. This has an effective shielding of copper foil between the primary and secondary windings to ensure the transmission of interference from the mains. In addition, the toroidal transformer offers significantly more power reserves than standard power supplies. A very low output impedance and a high capacitor capacity should ensure that there are no restrictions in the provision of power. For this purpose, a filter capacity of 10,000 μF and low ESR capacitors are used.

Another important feature is the so-called soft-start system, which avoids voltage peaks.

The new Pro-Ject Power Box RS Uni 1-Way TT is available in black or silver. It measures 201 x 72 x 195 mm and weighs an impressive 4.8 kg.
