McIntosh AS125 Amplifier Stand and McIntosh AS901 Amplifier Stand, these solutions are now presented by the US high-end HiFi manufacturer McIntosh Laboratory Inc. for all those who want to offer their power amplifiers of the renowned company the really perfectly fitting “foundation”.

While the new McIntosh AS125 Amplifier Stand is suitable for a variety of solutions from McIntosh Laboratory Inc., the new McIntosh AS901 Amplifier Stand is expressly aimed at proud owners of a McIntosh MC901 Dual Mono Amplifier.

McIntosh AS125 Amplifier Stand – For a variety of solutions

With the new McIntosh AS125 Amplifier Stand, the US company provides a solution that is suitable for a wide range of electronic components from McIntosh Laboratory Inc. The manufacturer lists the various mono blocks, such as the McIntosh MC2KW, McIntosh MC1.25KW, McIntosh MC611, McIntosh MC3599 Mk II or McIntosh MC2301, and also refers to earlier model generations.

The McIntosh AS125 Amplifier Stand is made of solid white ash from sustainable forests, the company says. A sandwich construction based on surface-glued technology is used to achieve extreme strength and stability. Ash is also particularly resistant to scratches due to its hardness.

The surface is finished in several stages with a deep black stain, so that a particularly elegant appearance is achieved, especially in combination with the electronic components from Mcintosh Laboratory Inc. with their black glass front.

To ensure that even the most massive solutions can be placed here without any problems, the wooden top of the stand alone has a wall thickness of 7.62 cm. All in all, the solid construction with dimensions of 45.2 cm in width, 45.7 cm in depth and 10.3 cm in height weighs an impressive 12.3 kg.

On the front of the McIntosh AS125 Amplifier Stand there is a front panel with the McIntosh logo printed on it. As with practically all products from Mcintosh Laboratory Inc., the logo on the amplifier stand can be illuminated in green via so-called Power Control connections on the back. In order to be able to connect these Power Control connections to the rest of the audio system in a versatile way, both input and output sockets are provided.

McIntosh AS901 Amplifier Stand – Specially designed for the McIntosh MC901 Dual Mono Amplifier

While the McIntosh AS125 Amplifier Stand described above is designed as a versatile solution, the McIntosh AS901 Amplifier Stand is aimed solely at users who own a McIntosh MC901 Dual Mono Amplifier.

The construction of the McIntosh AS901 Amplifier Stand is of course basically identical to the McIntosh AS125 Amplifier Stand, but the McIntosh AS901 Amplifier Stand has larger dimensions and is even more solidly built.

The McIntosh AS901 Amplifier Stand measures 45.2 cm in width and also 10.3 cm in height, but the depth is 75.7 cm, so that the very powerful McIntosh MC901 Dual Mono Amplifier really finds its place here. In addition, the stand can easily support the enormous weight of the McIntosh MC901 Dual Mono Amplifier, which weighs in at 81.6 kg. The McIntosh AS901 amplifier stand itself weighs 18.9 kg.

Unfortunately, we do not yet have prices for the two systems McIntosh AS125 Amplifier Stand and McIntosh AS901 Amplifier Stand, and as far as availability is concerned, at least McIntosh Laboratory Inc. itself says that they will be available shortly.
