It must be clearly stated that the consumer electronics market is currently undergoing fundamental change, which will present specialist retailers in particular with some immensely difficult tasks. The fact that the market is changing is, of course, nothing really new; it has always been subject to a wide variety of changes, especially in the field of consumer electronics, which specialist retailers in particular have to face up to, as they have to keep an eye on the latest technologies and trends and adapt their own range accordingly.

However, it is currently becoming increasingly clear that specialist retailers need to rethink their approach and move away from selling individual products towards complex solutions in order to survive in the long term. After all, those who sell individual products alone are subject to a merciless price war that will inevitably be lost, whereas a solution provider can trump with expertise and an appropriately positioned product range for the realisation of even complex systems.

This is precisely where the German sales organisation Drei H Vertriebs GmbH from Hamburg comes in, which has already positioned its range accordingly over the last few years. Under the management of Mika Dauphin, the company focuses primarily on suppliers in the premium segment, with the spectrum ranging from classic HiFi to home cinema and even complex installations in the custom installation sector.

The Three H Academy

The Drei H Akademie series of events was developed to support specialist retailers as a reliable partner in this regard.

At the beginning of November 2024 in Hamburg, for example, specialist dealers were offered an exciting insight into the world of the Lyngdorf Audio brand from the Danish company SL Audio A/S, with Peter Lyngdorf himself as a guest. Participants at this event were able to learn all about the history of the Lyngdorf Audio brand and the special company philosophy at first hand.

For more in-depth technical information, Roland Hoffmann and Flemming Smith, two recognised experts from SL Audio A/S, were on hand to answer questions about the Lyngdorf Audio brand as part of the Three H Academy, providing an overview of the current product range and giving an initial preview of the solutions that can be expected in 2025. Of course, the topic of RoomPerfect was not to be missed, and a separate workshop was dedicated to it.

Drei H Vertriebs GmbH also used this opportunity to work with the specialist retailers to develop a concept for the future focal points of the Drei H Academy, which will be emphasised in the coming year. A series of exciting dealer events are already being planned, as promised by Drei H Vertriebs GmbH.

It must be clearly stated that specialist retailers are facing completely new challenges today, as consumers in the premium segment in particular expect suppliers who can offer them customised solutions rather than just individual products. This is exactly what the German company Drei H Vertriebs GmbH wants to prepare its specialist retail partners for with the Drei H Academy, a series of events designed to provide specialist retailers with the comprehensive expertise they need to realise even complex solutions tailored to their customers.
