D´Agostino Progression Integrated Amplifier now Roon-ready

The stereo integrated amplifier D’Agostino Progression Integrated Amplifier, which was presented last year, is now fully Roon-ready. Of course, this only applies if you upgrade this amplifier with the optional digital module, which includes streaming.

The D’Agostino Progression Integrated Amplifier is the first stereo integrated amplifier of the D’Agostino Progression Series, whereby the D’Agostino Progression Integrated Amplifier naturally builds on the solutions that this product line has offered so far. The stereo integrated amplifier essentially combines the D’Agostino Progression Preamplifier with the technologies of the D’Agostino Progression Mono Amplifier and D’Agostino Progression Stereo Amplifier. The result is an amplifier that combines the elegance and attention to detail of the preamplifier with the power and dynamics of the power amplifiers, in a chassis that is, of course, entirely in keeping with the special design line coined by the US company. A truly outstanding solution, in every respect.

This is also due to the fact that the D’Agostino Progression Integrated Amplifier is an amplifier in which Dan D’Agostino Master Audio Systems LLC. relies on a modular concept.

Optional digital module

For example, the user can expand the amplifier with an optional digital module, which already had a number of interesting features at its market launch.

This not only provides a coaxial and an optical S/PDIF interface, but the digital board also has a USB port, so that a direct connection to PCs and Macs can be realised. An Ethernet port and a WiFi module are also available so that music streaming services such as TIDAL or Qobuz can be accessed. Signal processing is handled by a fully differential DAC that can process signals in Linear PCM with up to 24 bits and 192 kHz, DSD with up to DSD 11.1 MHz, and MQA.

Roon-ready

Already at the time of the market launch, the US high-end hi-fi manufacturer announced that Roon from Roon Labs LLC. would be used for this digital board.

Now Dan D’Agostino Master Audio Systems LLC. can announce that they have received the approval from Roon Labs LLC. and have thus completed the full certification. The D’Agostino Progression Integrated Amplifier is now Roon-ready.

Getting to the point

Dan D’Agostino Master Audio Systems LLC. also seems to have been caught a little on the wrong foot by the fact that Roon Labs LLC. tightened the reins on its partner programme last year and now handles the certification of products as Roon-ready quite strictly. Only when a solution has actually gone through the entire process may it be designated as Roon-ready. This now also applies to the D’Agostino Progression Integrated Amplifier and its optional Digital Board, which can now be officially marketed as Roon-ready.
