Arcam Radia AV Series enters the AV domain with AVA15, AVA25, AVA35, AVP45, PA4 and PA9

With the Radia AV Series, Arcam introduces a rare example of a fully developed AV portfolio that extends from integrated AV receivers to modular processor and power amplifier solutions. The series combines HDMI 2.1 video technology, advanced Dirac Live room correction and extensive streaming support within a unified system platform. It is designed for users who approach home cinema as a serious, system-oriented audio discipline rather than a lifestyle add-on.

Story Highlights
  • Arcam re-enters the AV arena with a platform approach that spans from compact AV receivers to true High-end home cinema configurations. The Radia AV Series aims to keep system consistency and long-term scalability at the core of modern multi-channel setups.

With the Radia AV Series, Arcam extends its Radia platform into the AV domain, addressing a market segment that has become increasingly narrow in recent years. While many manufacturers have reduced their AV activities to a small number of price-driven network receivers or exited the category altogether, broad and technically ambitious AV portfolios have become rare. As part of Harman Luxury Audio Group, Arcam deliberately takes a different route by maintaining a complete AV lineup that ranges from integrated solutions to modular High-end systems. The Arcam Radia AV Series was officially unveiled at Integrated Systems Europe 2026 in Barcelona.

Key Facts

  • Comprehensive AV platform with receivers, processor and multi-channel power amplifiers
  • Three AV receivers: AVA15, AVA25 and AVA35
  • Dedicated 16-channel AV processor AVP45 for external amplification
  • Matching power amplifiers PA4 and PA9 for scalable system design
  • Support for modern 3D audio formats and advanced Dirac Live processing
  • HDMI 2.1 platform with 8K video and gaming-oriented features
  • Integrated streaming including Roon Ready, Apple AirPlay and Google Cast
  • Unified design, control concept and system architecture across the Radia AV Series

A platform-driven approach across all components

By expanding the Radia Series into the AV segment, Arcam follows a clearly defined platform strategy. Design language, user interface and system architecture remain consistent across all components. The distinctive chassis design with a black finish, yellow accents and a centrally positioned 6,5 inch color display is shared by all AV models. Integration with the Arcam Radia App unifies system setup, presets and streaming functions, ensuring a consistent user experience regardless of whether the system is based on an AV receiver or a processor and power amplifier combination.

AV receivers AVA15, AVA25 and AVA35

The three AV receivers form the backbone of the Arcam Radia AV Series. The AVA15 is aimed at compact multi-channel installations and offers sufficient power reserves for immersive configurations such as 7.1.2 or 5.1.4 layouts. The AVA25 moves up the range with Class AB amplification and higher continuous output power, making it suitable for more demanding speaker setups. At the top of the line, the AVA35 employs Arcam’s Class G amplification technology, delivering increased efficiency and additional dynamic headroom. All three receivers support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, while the two higher models also add Auro-3D, alongside flexible channel assignment options for custom installations.

AVP45 AV processor for modular systems

For users who prefer external amplification or require more complex system architectures, the AVP45 serves as a dedicated 16-channel AV processor. Balanced XLR outputs ensure low-noise signal transmission, while flexible channel matrixing allows for advanced loudspeaker layouts. In combination with high-performance multi-channel power amplifiers, the AVP45 acts as a central control unit for sophisticated High-end home cinema systems where scalability and signal integrity are priorities.

Power amplifiers PA4 and PA9

The PA4 and PA9 power amplifiers extend the Radia Series with targeted amplification solutions. The PA4 is a compact four-channel Class D amplifier designed for height, surround or zone channels. The PA9, by contrast, provides nine channels of Class G amplification and is intended as an ideal partner for the AVP45 or as a powerful expansion for the AV receivers. Both amplifiers follow the Radia design language and integrate seamlessly into existing systems.

Room correction, video and streaming integration

A central pillar of the Arcam Radia AV Series is its advanced room correction capabilities. In addition to Dirac Live Room Correction and Dirac Live Bass Control, the AVA15, AVA25, AVA35 and AVP45 also support Dirac Live Active Room Treatment, enabling coordinated control of all loudspeakers within the system. On the video side, all models rely on an HDMI 2.1 platform with support for 8K signals, variable refresh rates and current HDR formats. Streaming integration is equally comprehensive, including Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect and Roon Ready support.

Price and availability

The AV receivers AVA15, AVA25 and AVA35, along with the AVP45 AV processor, are scheduled to become available through authorized dealers from the third quarter of 2026. The PA4 and PA9 power amplifiers are expected to follow in the fourth quarter of 2026. Recommended retail prices are € 2.990,- for the AVA15, € 4.990,- for the AVA25, € 6.999,- for the AVA35, € 5.990,- for the AVP45, € 999,- for the PA4 and € 3.990,- for the PA9.

Conclusion

With the Arcam Radia AV Series, Arcam translates its established design and sound philosophy from the stereo-focused Radia platform into the multi-channel domain. Positioned between traditional AV receivers and fully modular High-end installations, the series combines modern HDMI technology, advanced room correction and a coherent system architecture. It is aimed at users who view home cinema not as an isolated feature, but as an integral part of a high-quality audio system.
