Keith Monks Prodigy Record Cleaning Machine – The quietest of its kind

Many record washing machines would sound like a Boing 747 starting up in the living room, according to Keith Monks Audio Works, and it doesn’t have to be. In fact, it is possible to create an effective, very quiet and also elegant cleaning solution for records, and the new Keith Monks Prodigy Record Cleaning Machine is proof of this.

Anyone who is ever more seriously concerned with the reproduction of music from vinyl records will not be able to avoid a suitable cleaning solution for their vinyl treasures. Brushes, cloths, cleaning agents, all of these are quite practical for quick cleaning, but it is and remains a purely superficial way of cleaning. Deep-seated, stubborn dirt cannot really be removed effectively by these products, the only thing that helps is a so-called record washing machine.

There is a large number of these products on the market, and in the most diverse price ranges.

A frequently voiced criticism of many of these solutions is that they are quite noisy during operation, and some are actually very loud. This is due to the fact that after applying the cleaning fluid and a corresponding surface treatment, this fluid and the dissolved impurities must be sucked off again. This is exactly what makes a record washing machine a really effective cleaning solution for records. This suction by means of a powerful pump makes a lot of noise.

Keith Monks Audio Works is convinced that a record washing machine does not have to be noisy. It is also possible to design such a solution so that it hardly makes any noise, but still works very effectively. It is also possible to design a record washing machine as an “elegant” solution, or at least to choose a more appealing design so that such solutions don’t have to hide in plain sight. All this is offered by the latest solution from Keith Monks Audio Works, the Keith Monks Prodigy Record Cleaning Machine.

This new solution has taken a long time to develop, with five months of fine-tuning alone, according to Jonathan Monks, son of founder Keith Monks, who announced the availability of the new Keith Monks Prodigy Record Cleaning Machine.

The new Keith Monks Prodigy Record Cleaning Machine has all the functions of the classic cleaning solutions from Keith Monks Audio Works, but in a very unusual bamboo housing that takes up considerably less space than previous solutions. In addition, this new solution has been successfully implemented at a particularly attractive price, so that the new Keith Monks Prodigy Record Cleaning Machine may well be of interest to many vinyl lovers who have previously opted for conventional systems.

The new Keith Monks Prodigy Record Cleaning Machine is particularly easy to handle and can be easily stored when not needed.

The new Keith Monks Prodigy Record Cleaning Machine is designed to be the world’s first jointless spot vacuum cleaner, according to the manufacturer. Previous machines from Keith Monks Audio Works relied on a joint between the suction nozzle and the record, the new system is simpler, lighter and more effective, the manufacturer promises.

The cleaning method chosen by Keith Monks Audio Works is a liquid-on and liquid-off solution which, according to the manufacturer, is guaranteed not to cause recontamination of previously used liquids. Cleaning is a simple process that begins with the application of the special Discovery liquid developed by Keith Monks Audio Works, followed by cleaning with the supplied microfibre washing rod, the so-called Eco Roller. The company also emphasises the fact that contact with the panel during vacuuming is minimal, as the nozzle “rides” on a wave of cleaning fluid.

Cleaning a record, both sides, should take no more than about five minutes.

Again on the subject of noise pollution, Keith Monks Audio Works claims that the new Keith Monks Prodigy Record Cleaning Machine is the quietest solution ever built by the English, with previous products already so quiet that you could hear one record while cleaning others.

As mentioned earlier, the new Keith Monks Prodigy Record Cleaning Machine is made of bamboo. This in itself is extraordinary, plus the fact that it uses multi-colour LED lighting. Well, you don’t really need it, but it should contribute to the fact that the new Keith Monks Prodigy Record Cleaning Machine can be easily placed in the listening room and thus be used as an attractive eye-catcher. This LED lighting can even be controlled with an infrared remote control. Even colour gradients are possible with the RGB controller.
