JBL Tune Flex – With new JBL Sound Fit Technology
JBL Tune Flex, the new True Wireless in-ear headphones from the JBL brand, focus on individuality, according to Harman International Industries. Flexible and versatile, these headphones can be adapted to the requirements of the most diverse situations and the ideas of the user. In this way, an optimal sound experience is always guaranteed, as the manufacturer promises.
JBL Tune Flex – Stick Open Design or Stick Closed Design
The new JBL Tune Flex offers two main options for use: stick open design or stick closed design. This is achieved by means of differently designed ear adapters, which are supplied with the new JBL Tune Flex.
In the so-called stick open design, these earpieces are designed in such a way that the user can always perceive his surroundings and is therefore not completely shielded. This is an option that is especially important when driving in traffic to guarantee the user’s safety.
In addition, the manufacturer promises a particularly natural sound perception and wearing comfort without pressure in the ears, as is sometimes experienced by users with particularly well-insulating in-ear headphones.
With the Stick Closed design, the corresponding earpieces are designed to passively muffle as much ambient noise as possible, so that the user can concentrate fully on listening to music or making phone calls, even in noisy environments.
The effectiveness of the sealed ear tips in three sizes can be further enhanced in conjunction with the JBL Tune Flex app via the Sealing Ear-tip mode.
Active Noise Cancelling with JBL Smart Ambient
To ensure undisturbed music enjoyment, the new JBL Tune Flex also feature Active Noise Cancelling, which uses two microphones as the basis for the Active Noise Cancelling DSP algorithm.
Special mention must be made of the fact that the noise cancellation can be controlled via JBL Smart Ambient in such a way that you can perceive the surroundings at the touch of a button if necessary. Talk Through also allows you to have a conversation without removing the earphones.
Perfect speech intelligibility
Of course, an important point is optimal speech quality during telephone calls or video calls, and the new JBL Tune Flex offers four microphones for this purpose. An interesting feature is the JBL VoiceAware function, which determines how much of yourself you hear during phone calls, thus guaranteeing a much more natural perception.
JBL Tune Flex with JBL Pure Bass Sound
At the heart of the new JBL Tune Flex are drivers with a diameter of 12 mm, for which the manufacturer promises JBL Pure Bass Sound and thus a particularly dynamic reproduction.
JBL Headphone App
For Apple iOS and Google Android, the manufacturer naturally offers a suitable app, which we already mentioned briefly. This is the JBL Headphone App, which ensures a further individualisation of the listening experience, but also an adjustment of the way the headphones are operated.
Up to 32 hours of battery life
The headphones themselves are said to have a playing time of up to eight hours. The scope of delivery naturally includes a matching transport case that serves as a so-called power bank and thus offers an additional 24 hours of battery life. With active noise cancellation activated, the playing time naturally decreases a little, but up to six hours plus 18 hours are available via the transport case. Ten minutes are enough to enjoy two hours of music again via a quick-charge function.
Bluetooth 5.2 for signal transmission
The new JBL Tune Flex rely on Bluetooth 5.2 and are supposed to connect to the source device immediately after opening the transport case. An interesting feature here is that they have Dual Connect, so that not only both earbuds but also just one can be used, for example for phone calls.
Voice control included
Even though Harman International Industries lists only Google Assistant as the voice control for the new JBL Tune Flex, control by voice is of course also available under Apple iOS and thus Apple Siri.
Optimal fit and waterproof and sweat-resistant
The new JBL Tune Flex are said to be tough, certified to IPX4, neither water nor sweat can harm them and they can therefore be used in any weather and also during sports.
At the same time, they should always guarantee the highest wearing comfort, so that they can be used for many hours without any problems.
