Gold Note GN Control App for Google Android available

With the now available new version of the so-called GM Control App, the Italian high-end hi-fi manufacturer Gold Note now also offers full control of the streaming systems Gold Note IS-1000, Gold Note IS-1000 LINE, Gold Note DS-10 and Gold Note DS-10 PLUS for Google Android.

Above all, streaming solutions today cannot do without a corresponding app for smartphones and, in the best case, tablets. This is the only way to guarantee the promised intuitive control, especially when it comes to making the right choice from thousands and thousands of audio data on your own storage solution in the network or via appropriate streaming services, as well as tens of Internet radio stations. Some manufacturers go even further and offer full control of their solutions via their app, even when it’s not about streaming.

This is also the opinion of the Italian high-end hi-fi forge Gold Note around its streaming solutions, be it the outstanding all-in-one system Gold Note IS-1000 or Gold Note IS-1000 LINE, as well as the compact systems of the Gold Note DS-Series, the two solutions Gold Note DS-10 or Gold Note DS-10 PLUS.

In this context we also have to be a little self-critical, because often we simply write that apps for Apple iOS and Google Android are available. Unfortunately, this is also the attitude of many manufacturers, even if one platform is lagging behind and is not yet available for the product launch, or if there are differences between the apps of the two platforms in detail.

In the case of the so-called Gold Note GN Control this was the case so far, but now the GN Control App is also available for Google Android in the same form as for Apple iOS, so that there is a level playing field between the two platforms.

The new GN Control App, now offered in the Google PLAY Store, is now able to offer complete control of all functions, just as the version for Apple iOS already offered this. Not only does it offer complete control of all streaming functionalities, it also allows you to select any other input, and even the volume control, which ultimately takes place on a purely analog level, can now also be controlled on devices with Google Android.

It goes without saying that the new GN Control for Google Android is offered for free. It is now available as GN Control 1.0 and can be used from Google Android 5.0.

Getting to the point

With the now available GN Control App you can now comfortably control the streaming systems from Gold Note completely, be it with a smartphone with Apple iOS, or even Google Android. This includes not only the control of pure streaming from different sources, you can also select inputs and even the control of the volume on analog level is now possible with the app.
