Audirvana Studio 1.9 is the latest version of the media management and hi-res audio player software from the French software company Audirvana SAS. Once again, this solution brings with it some very interesting innovations.

The update, which is now available, also includes various bug fixes and detail improvements.

Saving local playlists and favourites

Audirvana Studio 1.9 introduces an important new feature, namely the option to save local Audirvana Studio playlists and favourites under the app’s local settings.

This means that “my music” can be retrieved at any time, for example, if you “move” from one PC or Mac to another computer, or if there are other reasons for having to reset the system.

The new version of Audirvana Studio 1.9 also comes with a detailed tutorial, a way of getting to know the software’s functions step by step. Users who are using this solution for the first time are also guided through the installation, which is very practical, especially with regard to the many setting options of the software.

Of course, this tool can also be skipped or called up later at any time.

Audirvana Remote Mobile App 3.2 with Remote Filter

The associated app, Audirvana Remote Mobile App 3.2, is also new and is available for Apple iOS as well as for Google Android.

The software company says that with this new version of the app, the interaction between Remote App and Audirvana Studio 1.9 goes even further, as it now offers unrestricted access to all filter and sort settings of Audirvana Studio, including the creation of Smart Playlists.

Audirvana Studio 1.9 is available in the proven manner for Apple macOS and Microsoft Windows, for the latter operating system there is a further innovation to report.

New update options for Microsoft Windows

Audirvana SAS states that Microsoft has closed a major security gap for Windows and therefore the update process for Audirvana Studio 1.9 had to be adapted. More options are now available for the individual setting of updates.

Prices and availability

As just described, Audirvana Studio 1.9 is available for both Apple macOS and Microsoft Windows and can be downloaded immediately. For existing customers, the update is free of charge; after all, the French software company relies on a subscription that is paid either annually or monthly, but always for one year.

The associated apps, the Audirvana Remote Mobile App 3.2 is also to be available immediately for Apple macOS as well as Google Android.

Getting to the point

The French software company Audirvana SAS is constantly pushing the version of its media management and hi-res audio player software for Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS. Sometimes a little too quickly, in our opinion, because many a “major” update turns out to be more of a subtle improvement in detail. This impression, which we have had since the introduction of the subscription model, is unfortunately also underlined by the now released Audirvana Studio 1.9.
