Audirvana Remote App for Audirvana Studio 1.5

The French software company Audirvana SAS has always offered an Audirvana Remote App for Apple iOS and Google Android for its similarly named software for Apple macOS and Microsoft Windows, and this is also true for the new Audirvana Studio 1.5

As promised, the new Audirvana Remote App, compatible with Audirvana Studio 1.5, is now available for Apple iOS and Google Android, announced the French software company Audirvana SAS.

This is the last component that was needed with the change from Audirvana to Audirvana Studio.

Audirvana Remote App for Apple iOS and Google Android

The purpose of the Audirvana Remote App is, of course, to have control over Audirvana Studio, i.e. to be able to control playback directly. This is very practical when using a PC or Mac with Audirvana Studio as the central interface in a hi-fi system.

Due to the special algorithms that Audirvana Studio offers for processing audio data past the APIs of the respective operating system, many users rely on this solution and even prefer it to streaming clients.

Audirvana Studio 1.5

In the meantime, Audirvana Studio 1.5 is available, so the French software company has already released the next update after Audirvana Studio 1.2, Audirvana Studio 1.3 and Audirvana Studio 1.4 in the last few days.

Once again, a number of bug fixes went along with it, actually such a quick change in nomenclature would not have been necessary. Audirvana Studio 1.0.1, 1.0.2, 1.0.3… that would have been more appropriate in our view, but of course this is just a personal assessment on the side.

Audirvana Remote App

The new Audirvana Remote App is coupled with the latest version 1.5 of Audirvana Studio, which also includes a new “MyPlaylist” feature that displays all playlists and folders directly in the main view, making it easier to navigate and create new playlists with one click, according to the developer’s description.

Most importantly, the new version of the Audirvana Remote App continues to work with the “old” versions of the Audirvana software.

As before, the Audirvana Remote App will continue to be free of charge for users of Audirvana and Audirvana Studio.

Getting to the point

With the latest version of the Audirvana Remote App for Apple iOS and Google Android, the French software company Audirvana SAS has fully completed the transition to Audirvana Studio. This app is now compatible with the new version of the software for Apple macOS and Microsoft Windows, but can also still be used with previous versions of Audirvana.
