The new Pro-Ject Debut Aluminium Sub Platter is a diamond milled aluminium sub platter, which is manufactured with significantly lower tolerances than normal sub platters. This ensures even greater speed accuracy, especially since it also offers increased mass, which also counteracts speed fluctuations, the so-called wow and flutter. The increased mass also provides additional damping of noise and unwanted resonances, so that the playback quality of the drive is also improved in this respect.

After all, the new Pro-Ject Debut Aluminium Sub Platter weighs 700 g and, as described, can be used with all Pro-Ject Debut record players according to the manufacturer’s specifications. Of course, this sub platter looks particularly elegant on those turntables that are equipped with a partially transparent acrylic turntable.
