Monitor Audio Silver 100 7G Limited Edition and Monitor Audio 300 7G Limited Edition
English speaker specialist Monitor Audio Ltd. is now presenting two Monitor Audio Silver Series 7G speaker systems as a special limited edition in metallic black. These will be available from specialist retailers from September 2025.

It’s been a while since the English loudspeaker manufacturer Monitor Audio Ltd. presented the latest generation of the Monitor Audio Silver Series in the form of the Monitor Audio Silver Series 7G. This is a particularly important product line from the English company, which is always able to perform at a very high level in terms of technology and therefore also sound, yet is offered at extremely attractive prices and is always presented in the tried-and-tested, broad-based manner.
Two models of the Monitor Audio Silver Series 7G will soon be available in a very special limited edition: the Monitor Audio Silver 100 7G Limited Edition and Monitor Audio 300 7G Limited Edition systems. These loudspeaker systems, each limited to 500 pairs, are presented in elegant black.
Technically identical to the standard version of the Monitor Audio Silver Series 7G
As already mentioned, the two speaker systems now announced in limited quantities are not new solutions, but rather additional design variants of the standard models.
Monitor Audio Silver 100 7G Limited Edition
The Monitor Audio Silver 100 7G Limited Edition, for example, is a so-called bookshelf speaker system, although Monitor Audio Ltd. itself prefers to call it a full-blown compact speaker system. Designed as a two-way bass reflex system, it uses a Monitor Audio C-CAM RST II driver with an 8-inch Ceramic Coated Aluminium-Magnesium cone as a low-mid driver and a Monitor Audio C-CAM Gold tweeter with UD Waveguide II.
The Monitor Audio Silver 100 7G Limited Edition can reproduce a frequency range between 35 Hz and 35 kHz, has an impedance of 8 ohms and an efficiency of 87.5 dB and is designed for amplifiers with an output of between 40 and 100 watts. With dimensions of 375 x 230 x 332 mm, it weighs 9,4 kg.
Monitor Audio 300 7G Limited Edition
The Monitor Audio 300 7G Limited Edition also uses a Monitor Audio C-CAM Gold tweeter with UD Waveguide II, a 3-inch midrange driver and two 6-inch Monitor Audio C-CAM RST II drivers as bass chassis. It is therefore a three-way bass reflex system.
According to the data sheet, the Monitor Audio 300 7G Limited Edition is able to reproduce a frequency range between 31 Hz and 35 kHz, with an impedance of 8 ohms and an efficiency of 87,5 dB, and the speaker is recommended for amplifiers with an output of between 80 and 200 watts. The dimensions of the speaker are 1.045 x 274 x 389 mm and the weight is 19,3 kg.
Elegant aesthetics – metallic black finish
According to the manufacturer, both speaker systems are intended to make a clear statement of elegant style and sonic performance. The Monitor Audio Silver 100 7G Limited Edition and Monitor Audio 300 7G Limited Edition solutions combine a unique aesthetic with breathtaking sound performance, the manufacturer claims.
An exclusive metallic black finish is used here, which stands for modern elegance and ensures that the speakers blend seamlessly into any living environment. Metallic flakes, which shimmer and shine depending on the incidence of light, create a very special effect.

Black anodised drivers
Not only is the housing of the Monitor Audio Silver 100 7G Limited Edition and Monitor Audio 300 7G Limited Edition models in black, the Monitor Audio C-CAM Gold tweeters have also been anodised in dark anthracite.
All other speaker drivers are also anodised in dark anthracite, as are the low-mid drivers of the Monitor Audio Silver 100 7G Limited Edition and the bass and mid-range drivers of the Monitor Audio 300 7G Limited Edition.
Prices and availability
Both Monitor Audio Silver 100 7G Limited Edition and Monitor Audio 300 7G Limited Edition speaker systems will be available from specialist retailers from September 2025. To emphasise once again, as the name makes clear, these are special models in small quantities. There will be no more than 500 pairs of either speaker system, each of which will be labelled with an individual serial number. The recommended retail price for the Monitor Audio Silver 100 7G Limited Edition is € 1.298,- and for the Monitor Audio 300 7G Limited Edition € 2.498,-, whereby these are both pair prices.
