This is made possible by the fact that the Bang & Olufsen Beolab 8 Gold Tone and Bang & Olufsen Beolab 8 Black Anthracite solutions are now available.

Story Highlights
  • Bang & Olufsen is expanding its Cinema range with new colours for the Bang & Olufsen Beolab 8, in the form of the Bang & Olufsen Beolab 8 Gold Tone and Bang & Olufsen Beolab 8 Black Anthracite

As announced last autumn, the Bang & Olufsen Cinema Line Up is being expanded to include new colour variants for the Bang & Olufsen Beolab 8, namely in rich black anthracite in combination with dark oak slats and a warm gold tone finish with light oak slats, according to Bang & Olufsen. This means that the complete Bang & Olufsen home cinema range is now available in three particularly elegant design variants.

Bang & Olufsen can therefore offer the Bang & Olufsen Beosound Theatre, Bang & Olufsen Beolab 28 and Bang & Olufsen Beolab 8 solutions in Gold Tone, Black Anthracite and Natural Aluminium versions.

Fits every interior – Bang & Olufsen Beolab 8 Gold Tone and Bang & Olufsen Beolab 8 Black Anthracite

As Bang & Olufsen not only sees itself as a technology-driven company, but also attaches great importance to a unique, exclusive design, it is naturally of great importance that the Bang & Olufsen brand’s solutions fit in as well as possible with any modern living environment. This is exactly what the new design variants are intended to guarantee across the entire product range. Bang & Olufsen speaks of a perfect cinema experience for every living space.

Manufactured in the Bang & Olufsen Factory 5

Bang & Olufsen sees the Bang & Olufsen Cinema Line Up solutions in particular, and thus the Bang & Olufsen Beolab 8, Bang & Olufsen Beolab 28 and Bang & Olufsen Beosound Theatre systems, as an expression of the company’s unique expertise in the field of aluminium, with the Bang & Olufsen Factory 5 in Struer taking centre stage. Here, the products are manufactured in a complex production process, the aluminium is turned, polished, anodised and milled, all under one roof, as the Danes emphasise. The company has acquired a great deal of experience in anodising in particular, an electrochemical process that is used to refine the surface of aluminium and creates a particularly resistant oxide layer in a wide variety of colour nuances.

This is also the basis for the design variants of the Bang & Olufsen Cinema Line Up, which, as already described, uses anthracite and gold as well as silver for the aluminium chassis.

The wooden slats in the Bang & Olufsen Cinema Series products are made from high-quality, solid oak, which is sustainably sourced from Europe and manufactured in Denmark, combining traditional methods with modern techniques. The oak wood is coloured with a dark or light pigment to create Dark Oak and Light Oak shades.

Bang & Olufsen Beolab 8 as a universal system speaker

Bang & Olufsen describes the Bang & Olufsen Beolab 8 as a versatile and powerful system speaker for realising a wide variety of audio systems for the best home cinema sound.

The Bang & Olufsen Beolab 8 can also be used individually or as a stereo pair to function as a high-quality audio system for music.

The design of the Bang & Olufsen Beolab 8 is based on Scandinavian design principles, with form following function, as the manufacturer emphasises. The shape of the loudspeaker creates an aesthetic object and at the same time improves the acoustics of the loudspeaker.

In addition to the different design variants already mentioned, there are four available stand options to ensure flexible, harmonious integration into any living space.

Designed for longevity – cradle-to-cradle principles

Bang & Olufsen focuses on durability in all respects, starting with the use of high-quality materials and extending to the replaceable streaming module. Thanks to its modular design, the Bang & Olufsen Beolab 8 can be continuously adapted to new requirements and new technologies.

The Bang & Olufsen Beolab 8 thus follows the design philosophy of cradle-to-cradle principles to proactively design products for a circular future, as Bang & Olufsen states.

Getting to the point

According to the Danish specialist Bang & Olufsen, the concept behind the Bang & Olufsen Beolab 8 has been based on versatility from the very beginning. This starts with its flexibility, which is primarily offered here through streaming, but is also supported by its compact, elegant shape, and the fact that it is now available in three design variants, i.e. in addition to the silver version, also as Bang & Olufsen Beolab 8 Gold Tone and Bang & Olufsen Beolab 8 Black Anthracite.
