Major firmware update in the middle of the year
In the middle of the year, Sonova Consumer Hearing GmbH presented a firmware update for the Sennheiser MOMENTUM 4 Wireless – sempre-audio.at reported – which was first and foremost under the slogan Sound Personalisation, especially in combination with the new Sennheiser Smart Control App presented at the same time.
Now another upgrade is to follow, as Sonova Consumer Hearing GmbH itself describes it, but a purely visual upgrade, because the previously somewhat modest selection of design variants of the Sennheiser MOMENTUM 4 Wireless in black and white alone is now being expanded to include the Black Copper and Denim versions.
The visual upgrade – two new design variants
The manufacturer is convinced that the new design variants are intended to lend both the headphones and their wearers that certain extra flair and style, clearly alluding to the fact that headphones are understood as an expression of personal lifestyle and must therefore also correspond to current fashion trends.
Based on the timeless colour of deep blue jeans, the denim colour scheme combines discreet class with the perfect portion of casual coolness, according to the manufacturer. The grey padding is intended to emphasise the familiar touch of the fabric-covered surface of the headband, which is also found on the cases of the entire MOMENTUM series.
The Black Copper variant is said to be inspired by the metallic accents of the Sennheiser HD 660S2 audiophile headphones, which were launched in early 2023. Both the Sennheiser logo and the exterior decoration on the earcups tastefully emphasise the premium design and tradition of the series, says Sonova Consumer Hearing GmbH about this new design variant of the Sennheiser MOMENTUM 4 Wireless.

While the Black Copper design version of the Sennheiser MOMENTUM 4 Wireless is already available from specialist retailers, the Denim version will have to wait until mid-October 2023. The recommended retail price for the new design versions of the Sennheiser MOMENTUM 4 Wireless is € 399,90.
Getting to the point
Until now, the Sennheiser MOMENTUM 4 Wireless over-ear headphones were only available in black and white, which is a little modest in times when headphones as personal audio devices serve as an expression of personal lifestyle. Now, however, Sonova Consumer Hearing GmbH is presenting two new design variants, a visual upgrade, with the headphones in Black Copper available immediately and in Denim from October.
