Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless – Without compromise

Sennheiser electronic GmbH has particularly high ambitions for its latest in-ear headphones, which are presented in the form of the Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless. The user should not have to compromise on sound.

Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless, with it an in-ear headphone of the extra class is to be available, of it the specialist Sennheiser electronic GmbH is convinced. Outstanding sound and high wearing comfort are to be offered here, in the opinion of the manufacturer indispensable features in this class, even if one, like Sennheiser electronic GmbH with the new Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless, speaks of a solution with a particularly attractive price.

At the same time, the music enjoyment should always be unclouded, which is ensured by Active Noise Cancelling in the new Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless.

Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless headphones in a class of their own

At the heart of the new Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless is a so-called TrueResponse driver, which was actually developed for solutions from the premium segment and adapted for these in-ear headphones, according to Sennheiser electronic GmbH. This delivers a particularly brilliant sound and even ensures that an audiophile technology, incidentally manufactured in Germany, moves into the everyday life of many customers.

Based on this special driver, the new Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless delivers rich bass, natural mids and clear, detailed highs.

Active Noise Cancellation

A special feature of the new Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless is also the aforementioned active noise cancellation. This allows the user to concentrate entirely on the music without being disturbed by ambient noise.

Of course, Sennheiser electronic GmbH relies on a so-called Transparent Hearing function, which allows a certain amount of ambient noise to pass through if desired, with just a tap of the finger, as the manufacturer describes it. That’s essential when you’re moving around in traffic with the headphones in your ears, for example. It is also practical when you want to have a conversation and don’t have to take the headphones out of your ear.

Convenient operation was a top priority in the specifications.

Smart user experience through intuitive operation

It is probably in keeping with the spirit of the times that the manufacturer refers to a smart user experience when describing the ease of use.

In any case, the new Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless is supposed to have a customizable touch interface, so that one can configure the controls according to individual requirements. The volume can then be controlled as well as playback, and calls can be answered and ended.

For the latter function, the new Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless is equipped with a total of four microphones, two per earphone, whereby in addition to use as a hands-free device with crystal-clear voice quality, access to smartphone voice control is of course also possible, be it Apple Siri, Google Assistant, or even Amazon Alexa.

By the way, if you take the headphones out of your ear, playback is paused and automatically resumed as soon as you put the earbud back in your ear.

Bluetooth 5.2 with AAC, aptX and aptX Adaptive

Bluetooth 5.2 is used for signal transmission, whereby aptX and aptX Adaptive are supported in addition to SBC and AAC. This enables high-resolution sound with particularly low latency, according to the manufacturer, which also points to the reliable connection to the source device.

Sennheiser Smart Control App

Of course, an app must not be missing either, here the Sennheiser Smart Control App for Apple iOS and Google Android is available. This is primarily used for the aforementioned control configuration, but an equalizer and a bass boost function can also be used.

The Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless automatically turns on and connects to the source device as soon as you take it out of the carrying box.

Robust workmanship and high wearing comfort

Of course, the new Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless was designed according to ergonomic guidelines, so you can use it comfortably even for hours. Silicone adapters in four different sizes are included with the headphones.

The Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless is splash-proof according to IPX4 and can therefore be used in almost all situations.

With outstanding sound due to Sennheiser’s TrueResponse transducers and additional features such as Active Noise Cancellation and Transparent Hearing, the CX Plus True Wireless offers an outstanding all-day listening experience.”
