The reason for this decision is that the new generation of the Musical Fidelity NU-VISTA Series are designed as absolute high-end solutions, and in order to be able to realise a particularly powerful power supply in each case, but without having to fear any negative influences on the sensitive electronics of the signal processing due to the massive toroidal transformers, the power supply has been outsourced.
Three instead of only one metre
The two components are connected by special cable sets, which are of course part of the delivery, but only with a length of one metre. According to the manufacturer, a length of one metre is usually sufficient for the frequently used placement of the hi-fi components including their power supply units in a hi-fi rack.
However, users who really want the greatest possible separation between the power supply and the main component, or users who do not want to place their electronics in a classic rack, will not be satisfied with just one metre of cable.
