Arcam ST60 Streamer now Roon Ready

Gradually the gaps are closing and now almost all current streaming solutions from the English hi-fi manufacturer Arcam are designated as Roon Ready, including the Arcam ST60 streamer from the Arcam HDA range.

With the Arcam ST60 Streamer, the English company A & R Cambridge Ltd. presented an extremely fine streaming client of the Arcam HDA range last autumn. It is even called a high-performance streaming source, indicating the high standards that the developers want to fulfil with it.

Arcam ST60 Streamer – The first pure streaming client from Arcam

Even though a number of solutions from Arcam already have versatile streaming functionality, from AV receivers to stereo integrated amplifiers, SACD players to the small Arcam Solo Uno lifestyle amplifier, with the Arcam ST60 Streamer the English hi-fi manufacturer presented its first pure streaming client.

UPnP, Google Chromecast, Apple AirPlay 2…

The Arcam ST60 streamer can be used in a variety of ways, for example, it supports the industry standard UPnP as a basis, but also Google Chromecast and Apple AirPlay 2. Of course, a wide range of streaming services can be accessed via the appropriate app.

The excellent converter is not only relevant for music streaming, because it is also available for external digital sources.

Now Roon Ready

At the presentation of the Arcam ST60 Streamer, it was announced that it could also be directly integrated into the media management and multi-room audio streaming software Roon by Roon Labs LLC. and thus be designated as Roon Ready.

However, this has not yet been fulfilled… Until now, because now the time has actually come. The Arcam ST60 streamer is now officially listed on the website of Roon Labs LLC. as another Roon Ready device from Arcam.

Now the streaming client of the Arcam HDA range is also Roon Ready, the Arcam ST60 Streamer. With this, the English hi-fi manufacturer A & R Cambridge Ltd. closes one of the last gaps in its wide range of streaming solutions.
