The new Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 is the latest generation of an extremely successful product series, so the manufacturer’s full-bodied promises are no coincidence. Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 with Sennheiser True Response Driver

Once again, the new Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 features a so-called Sennheiser True Response Driver with a diameter of 7 mm. According to the manufacturer, this driver was developed in Germany and offers a particularly dynamic, powerful, detailed and ultimately natural sound.

Signal transmission via Bluetooth 5.2

For signal transmission, the new Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 now uses Bluetooth 5.2, supporting the Bluetooth codecs SBC, AAC and aptX Adaptive, the latter of which is said to reduce latency to a minimum and stands out for its particularly energy-saving operation for a long battery life.

Active, adaptive noise cancellation

Since the Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 was developed for everyday use and especially for use on the move, it has once again been equipped with a particularly effective active noise cancelling system to guarantee the user interference-free music enjoyment at all times.

Since this is a so-called active, adaptive noise cancellation, it can be adjusted very sensitively to the respective requirements.

The earphones are equipped with external microphones that continuously analyse the ambient noise in real time and automatically adjust the noise cancellation on this basis. Those who want to perceive their surroundings can do so at the touch of a button; the Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 thus has a so-called Aware Mode. In the so-called Transparency Mode, the outside noises are even faded in via the microphones, also at the touch of a button.

Best voice quality

Especially for telephone calls, but also for video calls, optimum voice quality is of course crucial, so the new Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 has three microphones per earphone for this purpose, which, according to the manufacturer, guarantee crystal-clear call quality. Of course, you can also use the voice control of smartphones, whether Apple Siri on Apple iOS, Google Assistant on Google Android, or Amazon Alexa.

Individual customisation with Sennheiser Smart Control App

The Sennheiser Smart Control App is an extremely flexible, versatile solution for customising all functions of the new Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 for both Google Android and Apple iOS.

This allows the active noise cancellation as well as the sound characteristics to be adjusted according to individual preferences via equalisers with various presets and the operation of the Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 3.

The Individualised Listening function deserves special mention in this context, as it provides a guided test that can be used to create a customised sound profile according to individual preferences.

New design, outstanding comfort

As already mentioned in the introduction, the developers of the new Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 have opted for a new design concept that is described as particularly stylish, but also optimised in terms of ergonomics.

This is intended to guarantee the user the highest possible wearing comfort, even during hours of use.

Of course, the Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 also comes with a range of silicone ear moulds that make a significant contribution to this.

The new Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 is IPX4 certified and therefore resistant to splashing water.

Long battery life totalling 28 hours

The new Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 is said to be able to be used for up to 28 hours away from the mains, whereby a transport box comes into play for this, of course, which in turn has an integrated battery and thus serves as a power bank. It can be charged either via USB-C or wirelessly using Qi Wireless Charging.

The new Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 can already be ordered directly from Sennheiser Consumer Audio GmbH on their website, and will be delivered from 10 May 2022. The manufacturer is offering the new Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 in black, white and graphite versions, with a recommended retail price of €249.90.
