Magnat Audio-Produkte GmbH takes over distribution of Klipsch, Jamo, Onkyo, Pioneer and Integra

The Premium Audio Company continues to restructure its worldwide distribution activities and is now making a real splash in Germany. From now on, Magnat Audio-Produkte GmbH is not only responsible for the Magnat and Heco brands, but also for the Klipsch, Jamo, Onkyo, Pioneer and Integra brands.

The Premium Audio Company is pleased to announce that the sales agendas for the numerous brands in its own product portfolio have now been reorganised in Germany. From now on, Magnat Audio-Produkte GmbH, based in Pulheim, is not only responsible for the German brands Magnat and Heco, but also for the solutions of the brands Klipsch, Jamo, Onkyo, Pioneer and Integra. Thus, all brands of the Premium Audio Company are now serviced by one sales organisation.

Premium Audio Company – One-Stop-Shop Solution for HiFi and Home Entertainment

Although Premium Audio Company is a particularly powerful player in the consumer electronics segment with a large number of renowned brands, it is also a very young one. The company was only recently re-established in 2020 as a wholly owned subsidiary of VOXX International Corporation.

After VOXX International Corporation acquired the Onkyo and Integra brands in September 2021 through a joint venture with Sharp Corporation, and also concluded a licensing and distribution agreement with Pioneer Corporation, it was necessary to reorganise the various brands that were now part of the group, and in this context also to reorganise the distribution structures worldwide.

The joint venture includes all intellectual property, product development responsibility, marketing and sales for the entire Onkyo home entertainment business. As part of the joint venture, Sharp took over the entire production of this segment, including a selection of AV and stereo receivers, amplifiers and hi-fi components of the Onkyo, Integra and Pioneer brands. Magnat Audio-Produkte GmbH – Solutions from a single source

This is also the context for the recent move in Germany, where all brands are now bundled in one distribution company, as was done in a similar form in Switzerland and Liechtenstein – see our report “Novis Electronics AG new distribution company for Onkyo, Integra and Pioneer”.

The declared aim is that specialist dealers and ultimately also end customers will benefit from a new distribution strategy in which the focus is precisely on this brand association. With the brands Klipsch, Jamo, Onkyo, Pioneer and Integra, a one-stop-shop solution for the hi-fi and home entertainment sector is to be created, offering solutions based on innovative products from a single source across all brands. This includes, and this is explicitly pointed out, of course also a corresponding customer service.

Getting to the point

The Premium Audio Company is now gradually implementing its new brand and distribution concept, which has been developed together with Sharp Corporation since the takeover of the Onkyo and Integra brands and the licensing and distribution agreement with Pioneer Corporation. While confusion prevailed for a long time in the various markets, especially in Europe, clarity is now being provided in more and more countries, including Germany. From now on, Magnat Audio-Produkte GmbH is not only responsible for the German brands of the Premium Audio Company – Magnat and Heco – but also for the complete line-up of the brands Klipsch, Jamo, Onkyo, Pioneer and Integra.
