Lyngdorf TDAI-3400 Amplifier with TIDAL Connect Support

With the help of an update which is now available, the Lyngdorf TDAI-3400 amplifier is able to directly support the latest feature of TIDAL, TIDAL Connect. Music can now be played directly via the TIDAL app on the flagship from SL Audio A/S.

A few days ago, the streaming service TIDAL presented an extremely interesting feature, namely TIDAL Connect. This makes it possible to play music directly from the TIDAL app on a wide variety of streaming systems that support this function. This means that you no longer need to rely on an app provided by the hardware manufacturer. Instead, the TIDAL app allows you to seamlessly switch between various streaming solutions in the network that support TIDAL Connect.

TIDAL presented a number of industry partners around the market launch of TIDAL Connect, whose solutions support the new streaming option TIDAL Connect right from the start. These partners include SL Audio A/S and their brand Lyngdorf Audio. The first product from Lyngdorf Audio that now supports TIDAL Connect is the Lyngdorf TDAI-3400 amplifier.

The only requirement for using TIDAL Connect via the Lyngdorf TDAI-3400 amplifier is that it is equipped with the latest firmware update that the manufacturer now provides. This includes support for TIDAL Connect.

The update also includes a number of other improvements, such as improved Bluetooth connectivity and optimised network integration via WiFi.

SL Audio A/S also clarifies that the Lyngdorf TDAI-1120 streaming amplifier, which was presented a few weeks ago, will not have a direct TIDAL Connect implementation for the time being. For this system, the use of Google Chromecast or Apple AirPlay to play back content directly from the TIDAL app is recommended, according to the manufacturer.
