The JBL Clip 4 is a Bluetooth speaker that you can really take with you wherever you go. It is not only small and light, it is also waterproof, so that no weather conditions can harm it.

Even a device as compact as a Bluetooth speaker cannot be made any smaller than Harman International Industries has done with the JBL Clip 4, probably one of the smallest solutions of the JBL brand. The fourth generation of this product is the ideal companion for all situations in life, if only because of its dimensions and weight.

Cool style and ultra-portable design are therefore also the manufacturer’s quite apt descriptions of the JBL Clip 4.

JBL Clip 4 – Always with you

The JBL Clip 4 measures no more than 86.3 mm in width, 134.5 mm in height and 46 mm in depth. That brings it to just 239 g.

The oval housing is only comparatively “tall” because there is a carabiner on the top of the JBL Clip 4 that can be used to attach the mini Bluetooth speaker to a jacket, backpack or bag, or even to the handlebars of a bike or scooter.

Full JBL Original Pro Sound

Despite these tiny dimensions, the JBL Clip 4 is said to feature JBL Original Pro Sound, for which it is equipped with a 40 mm full-range driver and is, well, “fired” by an amplifier module with 5 watts of power. The frequency response is specified by the manufacturer as 100 Hz to 20 kHz.

Bluetooth 5.1

Bluetooth 5.1 is used for signal transmission, so that smartphones and tablets serve as the primary source and ensure access to any streaming services. The JBL Clip 4 supports the Bluetooth profiles A2DP 1.3 and AVRCP 1.6.

Totally rugged and waterproof

The JBL Clip 4 is of course designed to be particularly robust, and is also certified as waterproof and dustproof according to IP67. So there’s nothing to stop you taking it with you wherever you go, whatever the weather. Even at the pool, by the pond or on the sandy beach by the rushing sea, use is no problem at all.

Long battery life

So that the outing can last longer, the JBL Clip 4 has a playing time of up to ten hours. The 3.885 Wh lithium-ion battery is supposed to be fully charged within three hours, also via USB-C on a universal power supply with 5 V and 500 mAh. The matching cable at least is part of the scope of delivery.

Cool colour options

Adapted to the target group, the JBL Clip 4 is available in a wide range of design variants; the manufacturer speaks of cool colour options. Starting with black, grey, blue, green, red up to camouflage, everything is there…

The JBL Clip 4 can be found in specialist shops for the recommended retail price of just € 59.99.

Getting to the point

Well, let’s forget that the manufacturer speaks of JBL Original Pro Sound, which should not be the decisive point with the JBL Clip 4. What is much more important is that it is a particularly compact, particularly robust Bluetooth speaker that you can take with you anywhere and that comes in stylish colours.
