IAD GmbH relies on WestminsterLab, TCI and AIM

The distributor IAD GmbH is expanding its range by three brands in the area of cables. In addition to the high-quality cables from WestminsterLab, they will now also offer the solutions from True Color Industries as well as the audiophile LAN connections from the Japanese company AIM.

IAD GmbH, based in Korschenbroich, was founded in 2001 as a subsidiary of the International Audio Group. In 2008, this became today’s independent IAD GmbH, which is dedicated to the distribution of high-quality audio products.

The company has always been considered a specialist for solutions in the hi-fi segment, but also in the field of professional sound systems, whereby the portfolio has been successively expanded over the years. In addition to solutions such as the brands Audiolab, Luxman, Wharfedale, Quad, Mission, Lumin and Leak Audio, three more are to be added in the future, namely in the area of high-quality cables.

IAD GmbH is now expanding its range of audiophile products to include cables from WestminsterLab and True Color Industries, as well as LAN connections from the Japanese manufacturer AIM. The aim is to better meet the constantly growing demand for cables, whether for analogue or digital connections or for streaming.

The solutions from WestminsterLab and True Color Industries, also known as TCI, have stood for signal connections at the highest level for years, according to the sales department. AIM, on the other hand, is one of Japan’s leading suppliers of network cables.

WestminsterLab, the company name promises “English solutions”, and indeed the company was founded in London in 2006, but is now based in Hong Kong. As already mentioned, the company is primarily dedicated to signal cables for connecting various components in analogue as well as digital form, and also offers power cables and loudspeaker cables. WestminsterLab thus essentially covers all areas of a hi-fi chain around the topic of cables.

The company sees itself as a manufacturer that focuses on solutions with the best physical properties in order to ultimately realise an incorruptible sound. According to the company’s declared goal, music should be experienced up close and personal in all its facets. The company’s philosophy is to combine the disciplines of science, art and technology.

True Color Industries’ solutions come from Ireland, from Lisburn in Northern Ireland. They claim to develop first-class cables, not only producing the cables themselves, but also the connectors. This should lead to the fact that one really has all aspects under control and thus can realise the best possible solutions. According to the manufacturer, each component is meticulously developed to meet strict specifications and durability.

TCI has been in existence since 1993, and its portfolio today includes interconnect, digital and loudspeaker connections as well as high-quality network cables with particularly effective shielding and conductivity.

The company AIM, on the other hand, focuses entirely on network connectors. As early as 1983, AIM manufactured special cables for the network industry in Japan and is thus one of the most experienced specialists for digital connections. In addition to retail solutions, the company also devotes itself to large-scale projects, whereby it can point to countless renowned customers, such as Universal Studios Japan, Kensai Airport, and even NTT, Japan’s largest telecommunications provider, is one of AIM’s regular customers. It is interesting to note that AIM does not only focus on pure network cables, but also has outstanding HDMI cables in its range, which are of course also designed according to the latest specifications.

The cables of the three manufacturers are distributed exclusively by IAD GmbH and can be found immediately in specialist shops.
