With the new EsseCI Design S.A.P. Audio RELAXA 730, another solution of the EsseCI Design RELAXA Series is now available. The South Tyrolean expert for decoupling solutions thus presents another ingenious isolation platform.

The new EsseCI Design S.A.P. Audio RELAXA 730 is the latest addition to the so-called EsseCI Design RELAXA Series, the product range with which the Italian specialist EsseCI Design offers a very exceptional family of decoupling solutions.

A sophisticated design ensures outstanding results, and an elegant appearance guarantees harmonious integration into any fine hi-fi chain.

EsseCI Design RELAXA Series

The solutions of the South Tyrolean specialist EsseCI Design promise nothing less than total decoupling of the solutions placed on them from the subfloor. Due to the special construction, there is actually no connection at all, the devices float completely free and thus prove to be absolutely resistant to sound-damaging vibrations, which can naturally always occur in the living environment.

The clou of the matter is that this is a so-called neodymium absorber platform, designed by the owner and developer of EsseCI Design, Dipl. Ing. Silvano Cremonesi. It is also referred to as an Isolation Floating Board, the basis of which goes back to a patent by Dipl. Ing. Silvano Cremonesi from 1999, and whose mode of operation has been constantly optimised and improved over the years.

The solutions of the EsseCI Design RELAXA Series present themselves to the user as extremely elegant solutions, which is already ensured by the selection of the materials used here.

First of all, the construction is based on a frame made of Valchromat, ultimately a material consisting of wood fibres bonded by means of special resin. This material is supposed to have a very high density and very high mechanical strength while at the same time being lightweight.

Depending on the model, there are four, five or even eight particularly powerful pairs of magnets in this frame, which are neodymium magnets.

These ensure that the actual platform actually floats above the base, the actual complete decoupling is ensured.

The upper construction relies on a glass plate, specifically tempered glass, which, according to the developer, has particularly optimal properties for these features required here, and which represents the actual footprint for devices. Depending on the model, the magnets are mounted directly in the glass plate, or a skeleton construction made of Valchrom is also used as a base.

For the sake of completeness, only two guide pins protrude from the base construction into the upper platform, but they do not have any contact points.

Four models already available

So far, four models have been available in the EsseCI Design RELAXA Series, which differ on the one hand in the largest available footprint, but also in the maximum load capacity.

In addition to the EsseCI Design S.A.P Audio RELAXA 622, EsseCI Design S.A.P. Audio RELAXA 622 S and EsseCI Design S.A.P Audio RELAXA 530, the EsseCI Design S.A.P Audio RELAXA 750 was also offered as the flagship model.

EsseCI Design S.A.P Audio RELAXA 730

The EsseCI Design S.A.P Audio RELAXA 730 is a brand new solution which, as the name suggests, joins the existing range of models.

The new EsseCI Design S.A.P Audio RELAXA 730 is designed for components with an effective surface area of 470 x 360 mm, making it a good deal more compact than the flagship EsseCI Design S.A.P Audio RELAXA 750, which has dimensions of 570 x 460 mm.

The manufacturer relies on five pairs of magnets and aims to offer a load capacity of between 3 and 30 kg.

The new EsseCI Design S.A.P Audio RELAXA 730 is available immediately from specialist dealers. The recommended retail price is € 1,399. This also places the new solution in the midfield of the entire EsseCI Design S.A.P Audio RELAXA Series.

Getting to the point

The new EsseCI Design S.A.P Audio RELAXA 730 is the most compact isolation platform of the EsseCI Design S.A.P Audio RELAXA Series to date, but due to its high power handling capacity it ranks directly below the flagship of the series. In terms of price, however, it is located in the midfield of the outstanding product line of the Italian specialist EsseCI Design.
