The new Clearaudio Professional Power 24V is primarily designed for Clearaudio Ovation Series and Clearaudio Innovation Series turntables. For these, it offers improved filtering and sufficient capacity.
Compared to conventional power supplies, the Clearaudio Professional Power 24V is said to offer a particularly high-quality power supply, and the manufacturer describes the sound quality that can be achieved with it as considerable.
The reason given for this is that the purified analogue power source offers extended reserves for even cleaner and more consistent motor performance.
The heart of the Clearaudio Professional Power 24V is a resonance-optimised transformer, which ensures that no mechanical resonances are transmitted through the cabinet. Furthermore, selected electronic components are used and the construction is strictly subjected to the goal of achieving the best possible, clean power supply.
Between standard power supply and Clearaudio Smart Power 24V
The new Clearaudio Professional Power 24V is positioned in such a way that it closes a gap in the Clearaudio electronic GmbH product range, namely between the conventional standard power supply units supplied with the turntables and the Clearaudio Smart Power 24V.
The new Clearaudio Professional Power 24V measures 92 x 145 x 94 mm and thus weighs about 1.1 kg. It is obviously a massive power supply unit.
