BluOS supports TIDAL Connect

With TIDAL Connect, the online streaming service TIDAL provides a new function for direct control of compatible hardware devices from various manufacturers. All streaming solutions based on BluOS will be among the first solutions to support this function.

The new function of TIDAL, a streaming service founded in 2014 by the Norwegian-Swedish technology company Aspiro AB and taken over by Jay-Z Online in 2015, will enable music to be transferred seamlessly from the cloud directly to a wide range of streaming devices. TIDAL calls this function TIDAL Connect.

All solutions based on the streaming platform BluOS from the Lenbrook Group’s software company BluOS will be among the first solutions that allow TIDAL Connect and thus direct music streaming to compatible devices. This means that TIDAL Connect will be available on a wide range of products from a variety of manufacturers, starting with solutions from Bluesound, Bluesound Professional, numerous streaming systems from NAD, and of course solutions from partners Dali Speaker A/S, such as the Dali CALLISTO Series, Dali RUBICON C Series and Dali OPTICON C Series, but also on Roon-based systems from Monitor Audio Ltd.

  • Bluesound Gen 2i 01 1
