Advance Paris X-i1100 Integrated Stereo Amplifier – The new spearhead

The latest stereo integrated amplifier Advance Paris X-i1100 Integrated Stereo Amplifier from the French hi-fi manufacturer Advance Paris, which the company describes as the spearhead of its product portfolio, features an elaborately designed, audiophile construction, strictly selected components and a high-quality integrated converter.

The French company Advance Paris can point to a very broad range of solutions in the field of amplifiers, so it is exciting to announce a new amplifier that is to be placed directly at the top of this product portfolio, even called the new spearhead. This is exactly what the new Advance Paris X-i1100 Integrated Stereo Amplifier is designed to do, which, according to the company, will be available at specialist dealers these days.

The new Advance Paris X-i1100 Integrated Stereo Amplifier is the successor to the Advance Paris X-i1000, according to the French hi-fi manufacturer Advance Paris, which is to be the new top model at the top of the exclusive amplifier range. It is designed for maximum acoustic performance and maximum power, and is based on an uncompromising and elaborate electronic construction as well as exclusive and audiophile individual components. A simple operating concept and the familiar design line of Advance Paris should also speak for the new Advance Paris X-i1100 Integrated Stereo Amplifier.

The developers of the new Advance Paris X-i1100 Integrated Stereo Amplifier focused on an amplifier design that optimizes the automatic switching from Class A to Class AB, so that the advantages of Class A sound quality are shown to their best advantage, while the concentrated power of Class AB is available when needed. If full power is not required, the X-i1100 operates in Class A mode, which is particularly popular with audiophiles and has extremely low distortion. Only when the required power exceeds a certain value does the amplifier switch to Class AB operation. This switchover is automatic and lightning fast, and the listener doesn’t notice a thing.

The new Advance Paris X-i1100 Integrated Stereo Amplifier is thus an enormously powerful amplifier, as the manufacturer emphasizes, which supplies no less than two times 220 watts per channel to speaker systems with an impedance of 8 ohms, and can therefore easily drive a wide range of different speaker systems and always keep them under control.

The new Advance Paris X-i1100 Integrated Stereo Amplifier relies solely on strictly selected, high-quality components such as polypropylene capacitors and metal film resistors. The circuitry is also designed in such a way that the individual components do not have any negative influence on each other. The Advance Paris X-i1100 Integrated Stereo Amplifier has five separate chambers that house the various system boards and the power supply based on a powerful toroidal transformer. A particularly rigid construction of the chassis helps to prevent not only interference but also vibrations, thus guaranteeing the best possible sound.

One of the most important aspects of a stereo integrated amplifier is of course the variety of connections, and the new Advance Paris X-i1100 Integrated Stereo Amplifier is the perfect choice. Not only are numerous analog inputs available, including balanced XLR sockets, but in addition to an integrated phono preamplifier, the Advance Paris X-i1100 Integrated Stereo Amplifier also features an integrated D/A converter. According to the manufacturer, the USB port stands out as the most important feature, which uses asynchronous signal transmission using XMOS technology to allow direct connection to PCs and Macs as a versatile source. In addition, one AES/EBU, two coaxial and even four optical S/PDIF interfaces are available. The signal processing here is carried out at up to 24 bits and 192 kHz, using Burr-Brown converters from Texas Instruments.

The Advance Paris X-i1100 Integrated Stereo Amplifier naturally features a Plexiglas front panel that adorns the black housing. A silver rotary encoder is centrally located here, as well as the standby button, and backlit analog VU meters are also included.

Finally, the new Advance Paris X-i1100 Integrated Stereo Amplifier also has an integrated headphone amplifier. Trigger inputs and outputs are not missing on the rear panel either, so that central control with additional components is possible.

The new Advance Paris X-i1100 Integrated Stereo Amplifier should already be available in specialist shops these days, according to the French manufacturer. The French manufacturer emphasizes that the Advance Paris X-i1100 Integrated Stereo Amplifier was designed and developed in France.

The recommended retail price is stated at € 3,490.
